@TraderLion It would be great if you guys can put all your recent videos from the conference, up to the latest one, under one playlist, on YT.
It would help a bunch.
Great content.
Great book.
@BlogJulianKomar As the saying goes: the longer the price stays in a range(in this case a very tight range), the stronger the move after the breakout will be.
So 1 will be the ideal choice.
1 also makes it easy to place stops—just below the tight range—solid base.
@NorthstarCharts Hi Northstar, I really value your simple yet powerful analysis.
One Q: Isn’t bonds purchased during a risk-off environment, or am I not understanding something here?
Banks can’t accept a world where the yield doesn’t sit as profit on their balance sheet.
The democratization of yield and lending for all is being stopped by banks at the expense of all.
They want pure regulation, putting crypto innovation behind banks and lagging developments in other countries.
Hopefully this gets resolved.
Greenland was discovered by Erik Red. Viking king of Denmark then was Harald Bluetooth.
The Swedish invention Bluetooth bears his initials in old Norse.
The Viking king Harald was son of Gorm the Old. First in line of the modern Danish kings.
But sure, Trump also had a boat.
China went to meet with Maduro today to discuss joining forces, then Trump captures Maduro the same day.
Savage.
In fact, the Chinese delegation is still in Venezuela.
Trump captures Maduro and sends a powerful message to Xi and China at the same time.
Savage.
Umberto Eco, who owned 50,000 books, had this to say about home libraries:
“It is foolish to think that you have to read all the books you buy, as it is foolish to criticize those who buy more books than they will ever be able to read. It would be like saying that you should use all the cutlery or glasses or screwdrivers or drill bits you bought before buying new ones.
“There are things in life that we need to always have plenty of supplies, even if we will only use a small portion.
“If, for example, we consider books as medicine, we understand that it is good to have many at home rather than a few: when you want to feel better, then you go to the ‘medicine closet’ and choose a book. Not a random one, but the right book for that moment. That’s why you should always have a nutrition choice!
“Those who buy only one book, read only that one and then get rid of it. They simply apply the consumer mentality to books, that is, they consider them a consumer product, a good. Those who love books know that a book is anything but a commodity.”
We don’t live in a patriarchy.
We don’t live in a matriarchy, either.
We live in a three-tiered system - most women outrank most men, but the top men outrank them both.
APPLE, TESLA, NVIDIA SHARES TO TRADE AS TOKENS ON KRAKEN: WSJ
The tokenization is happening and I do not think it's stopping any time soon.
Crypto to me not at all about the coins.
It allows to create a more efficient contract based infrastructure allowing for more efficiency, especially in fintech.
For this project, why would you use Tokens?
1. 24/7 liquidity: arbitrage between the on-chain price and the off-chain share closes the gap when Nasdaq is shut.
2. Fractional access: buy 0.001 NVDA without waiting for a broker that supports slices.
3. Composability: deposit xAAPL into a Solana money-market, mint a synthetic long/short, or settle derivatives instantly with on-chain collateral.
4. Programmable corporate actions: dividends or splits can be distributed by smart contract rather than through legacy clearing.
5: Shorter settlement cycle: T+0 atomic delivery-versus-payment instead of T+1 (and soon T+0.5) in DTC.
...
As you can see there are many advantages in using blockchain as a contract based, low cost transaction processing mechanism.
Blockchain, in my view, will become the backbone of the new age infrastructure. It will not be a major source of wealth, more than be a commoditized product that will need to deliver on three pillars: Speed, Cost, Adaptability(smart contract depth).
Daniel Kahneman passed away today
He changed the world of behavioral finance
Here are 10 things I learned from his book Thinking Fast and Slow as a way to say thank you:
Knowing I’m a trader, friends and family often ask me: “Where do you think the market is going over the next few weeks or months?”
And I always tell them “Your guess is as good as mine”.
To which they invariably respond, “…but you do this for a living!”
To which I have to reply: “I don’t make money on my guesswork, I make money on managing the outcome of my guesswork.”
And that is usually the end of the conversation.
After blowing out accounts, borrowing $$ to come back then blowing out again people were asking me why don’t you just quit? I told them I can’t quit because I only saw myself as one thing and that was a trader. If you want this bad enough always stay positive & never quit
