Someone else's answered prayer doesn't mean God has overlooked yours.
You can celebrate what He's doing in someone else's life while still trusting Him with your own.
Not every season will feel like a breakthrough.
Some seasons are just getting out of bed, saying another prayer and choosing to trust God one more time.
And even there, He is with you. 🤍
🚨 I’m done with “Christianity”.
Not Christ. Not His Word. Not His commandments.
But the version of Christianity that has convinced people they are right with God simply because they identify as Christians.
The version that prioritises religious activities over genuine repentance, church attendance over obedience, and outward appearances over inward transformation.
The version that teaches people to become comfortable with the very sins Christ died to deliver them from.
Because the truth is, you can be religiously active and still be spiritually dead. You can know about Jesus without truly knowing Him. You can spend your entire life preparing for this world while neglecting the eternity that awaits you.
And that is precisely why we need to talk about something many people would rather ignore: the condition of the human soul before God.
WE WERE ALL BORN SPIRITUALLY DEAD.
From birth, humanity exists under the shadow of Adam’s fall, separated from the life of God because of sin.
We did not enter this world already reconciled to our Creator. We entered a fallen world with a fallen nature, and our greatest problem has never been merely the condition of our lives, but the condition of our souls before a holy God.
Understand this: spiritual death does not mean the cessation of existence. It means being separated from the life and fellowship of the One who is the very source of life.
This is why being physically alive does not necessarily mean being spiritually alive. You can breathe, walk, think, build a career, accumulate wealth, enjoy relationships, pursue your dreams, and still be spiritually dead.
You can be celebrated by the world and yet remain alienated from the God before whom you will one day stand.
Scripture makes this painfully clear in Ephesians 2:1: “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins”. Notice that the Bible does not describe us as people who were merely struggling, slightly misguided, or in need of a little moral improvement. It describes us as dead in sin.
Our problem was deeper than bad habits, poor decisions, or a lack of discipline. We needed more than self-improvement. We needed spiritual resurrection.
And this is where many people misunderstand the Gospel. They think Christianity is simply about becoming a better person, attending church, learning religious principles, or adopting a respectable lifestyle.
But what good is a polished exterior if the soul remains dead in sin?
What good is it to reform your behaviour outwardly while refusing to surrender your heart to Christ?
You can clean up your life in the eyes of men and still remain unreconciled to God. The Gospel is not merely an invitation to improve your life; it is God’s call to repent, believe in Jesus Christ, and receive the new life that only He can give.
If you have come to understand your sin and your need for Christ, do not harden your heart against His call.
This is the tragedy of our generation: people are making elaborate preparations for a future they are not even guaranteed to see, yet giving little thought to the eternity they are certain to face.
We plan our education, careers, marriages, businesses, and retirements. We worry about our appearance, our reputation, and our financial security. Yet how many are deliberately preparing their souls to stand before their Maker?
How many are so occupied with living their best lives on earth that they have neglected the question of where they will spend eternity?
Family, you can be successful in this life and still be lost for eternity. You can gain the whole world and forfeit your soul.
You can have people celebrating your birthday while your soul remains unprepared for eternity.
You can have thousands of followers, a beautiful home, a flourishing business, and a respected name, yet none of these things can reconcile you to God.
When you stand before Him, your earthly achievements will not be a substitute for the righteousness He requires.
Your greatest need is not to make a name for yourself in this world, but to be found in Christ. 📌
But here is the beauty of the Gospel: God did not leave humanity without hope. In His love and mercy, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and rise again. Through His death and resurrection, the way to reconciliation with God has been opened.
Those who repent and put their faith in Him are forgiven, justified, and made alive through the work of the Holy Spirit.
As Ephesians 2:4–5 declares, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions.
This is grace! We could not rescue ourselves, so God provided the Saviour we desperately needed.📌
But do not mistake the grace of God for permission to remain in sin. The same Christ who forgives the repentant sinner calls that sinner to deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Him.
Salvation is not a licence to continue living in rebellion while claiming the security of a Christian identity. The evidence of genuine faith is not mere religious language, but a life increasingly surrendered to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
We are not saved by our works, but the grace that saves us also begins to transform us. We must not claim to know Him while making peace with the very sins He calls us to forsake.
So, family, I plead with you: do not play games with your soul. Do not presume upon tomorrow. Do not keep postponing repentance because you think you have more time.
You do not know how many days you have left, and you will not be able to negotiate for another opportunity when your earthly life comes to an end.
Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your heart. Examine your life honestly. If you have never surrendered to Jesus Christ, come to Him in repentance and faith.
If you have wandered away, return to Him. If you are professing His name while deliberately holding on to sin, stop deceiving yourself and surrender fully to Him.
We were born into a fallen world, but we do not have to remain dead in our sins. There is life in Jesus Christ. There is forgiveness for the repentant. There is mercy for the one who turns to Him. But you must not treat the grace of God as something to presume upon while you continue to reject His call.
Choose Jesus today. Repent and believe the Gospel. Seek Him while He may be found, and do not confuse the patience of God with an endless supply of time.
Time is running out. Eternity is real. Christ is coming again. Make sure you are ready to meet Him. 📌
QUIT YOUR BITCHING!!!!!!
Grandpa didn’t have a $90 month internet bill, a $130 phone bill, seven app subscriptions at $72 month, an Amazon addiction for $200 month, he didn’t have Netflix, Paramount or HBO for another $112 month and his haircuts didn’t need a ‘stylist’!
I’m worn out hearing people moan, “Our grandparents could buy a house on one paycheck, but now we can’t even afford rent on two!”
Yeah, maybe because Grandma wasn’t dropping half her income on $14 iced lattes and avocado toast shaped like art projects. Back then, if they wanted coffee, they boiled it at home in a dented pot. It tasted like burnt rubber and regret — but it woke you up and cleaned your pipes.
And Grandma wasn’t “out to brunch.” You think she had time for mimosas and hashtags? She was making something called whatever’s left in the fridge and feeding six people with it.
Don’t even start with Uber Eats. You think Grandpa was out here paying $38 to have a burger delivered three blocks away? Please. He grilled mystery meat on a rusted barbecue, and everyone called it dinner.
Now people cry about being broke while sitting in a house full of gadgets. Two SUVs in the driveway, six streaming services, three air fryers, and matching tattoos that cost more than their light bill. You think Grandpa had a tattoo? He did. It said “Korea, 1951,” and it came with trauma, not Instagram likes.
And the kids—Lord help us. “We can’t make ends meet, but Brayden needs the new iPhone!” No, he doesn’t. You’re handing an $1100 device to a child who still eats crayons and forgets to flush.
When we were kids, there was one phone. It hung on the wall like a family relic. The cord stretched just far enough for you to whisper secrets before someone yelled, “Get off, I need to make a call!” And guess what? We lived.
The TV? One. In the living room. With three channels and a dial that clicked like a safe. And if Dad wanted to watch bowling, you were a fan of bowling, end of story.
Now there’s a flat screen in every room, the baby’s got an iPad, the dog’s got a camera, and everyone’s wondering why they can’t afford rent.
Because you’re living like rock stars on retail salaries, that’s why.
Grandpa wasn’t leasing Teslas or buying $12 smoothies called “Green Zen Awakening.” He drove a truck that coughed smoke, rattled like a storm, and smelled like oil and hard work.
They lived within their means. Whatever Grandpa brought home on Friday — that’s what they had. They weren’t keeping up with the Joneses; they were keeping the lights on.
So yeah, Grandpa bought a house on one salary. But he also didn’t have a gym membership, three delivery apps, and emotional support crystals on his nightstand. His only support system was Grandma, who told him to quit whining and mow the yard.
Nowadays, everyone’s broke, anxious, and “manifesting abundance” while ordering tacos on DoorDash for the fourth time this week.
It’s not the economy — it’s the lifestyle.
Wake up, turn off your subscriptions, make your own coffee, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll smell the truth.
It’s truth....God is Good, God is Great, I thank HIM for this day and everything I have!!
Atheists love pointing to horrors like the Holocaust as proof God cannot exist. But before we ask why God didn't stop the Holocaust, let’s ask a smaller question: why didn't God stop Cain from killing Abel?
If you want to put God on trial for human evil, start where evil actually erupts in Scripture.
Before looking into Cain, the upstream question is simple: why would a good God even create beings who, left to themselves, are capable of monstrous cruelty?
To create a creature capable of genuine moral beauty, that creature must possess the terrifying headroom to fall. You cannot create a being capable of authentic love and righteousness without giving that being the real power to refuse those things.
A programmed machine is not loving anyone, it is merely executing code. The exact capacity that allows a man to lay down his life for a friend is the exact same capacity that allows him to pick up a stone and murder his brother. Evil is not a tangible substance God manufactured. It is the deliberate turning away of a creature's will from the source of life.
So how does God actually deal with that first evil?
He does not remain silent. Before a drop of blood is spilled, God confronts Cain directly: “sin is crouching at your door, and you must rule over it.”
This is how God confronts human evil: He hardwires moral knowledge into conscience. Deliberate evil requires actively suppressing an internal alarm we already know is ringing.
An atheist will still ask: why didn't God physically step in and stop the murder?
What are you actually asking God to do? Paralyze Cain’s arm mid-swing? Turn the stone into air? Mechanically delete his ability to carry out the act?
The moment God overrides physical consequences whenever our intentions turn dark, moral reality collapses into a cartoon. Human choices are stripped of all weight.
More importantly, where should God draw that line? Murder? Theft? Slander? The quiet malice in our own minds? If God eliminated evil by force, He couldn't stop at Cain; He would have to eliminate all of us. People don't want God to abolish evil; they only want Him to abolish the evil of other people.
Then look at Abel.
Abel walked faithfully with God, yet he ended up dead in the dirt. To secular eyes, this looks like an embarrassing defeat. Did Almighty God fail to protect the man He endorsed?
Only if you assume reality ends at the cemetery.
Cain had the power to destroy Abel’s physical body, but he had zero power to destroy Abel. God did not lose His friend.
Physical death is not terminal oblivion; it is the relocation of an eternal soul from one room of God's reality into another.
Yet God never dismisses the murder. He tells Cain that Abel’s blood cries out to Him from the ground. Injustice is real, and the blood of the innocent demands an answer.
Instead of answering with a lecture from the clouds, God stepped straight into the dirt of history Himself when humanity followed Cain. In Christ, God took on human flesh and became the target of that exact same human malice. He was falsely accused, betrayed, and executed on a Roman cross.
God did not shield Himself from the violence of the world. He absorbed the absolute worst of it into His own body, and then broke the power of death by walking out of the grave on the third day.
The Christian answer is not that God should turn us into robots to prevent every Cain. It is the assurance that while Cain is allowed to swing his stone on earth, he never gets the final verdict.
Abel’s blood cried out from the soil for vindication, but Christ’s blood answers for eternity. God does not prevent evil by destroying our agency; He enters our suffering, shoulders our guilt, and redeems everything our violence tried to destroy.
There will be people who knew me in my life before Jesus who will look at what I'm doing now and say, "Who does he think he is?! Imagine if people knew what I saw him do..."
I get it. And I don't run from it. But I will say this: who I WAS is my greatest testimony. That man is DEAD. Like... he's literally dead - I don't recognize him. He loved the world and fed his flesh above all. He said he was a "Christian" but only lived like it for an hour at church.
Only the blood of Jesus could take the man that I was and transform him to the man I am today. I can't really even say it's the man "I am," it's who I am able to be with the Holy Spirit.
The only reason I'm saying this is the enemy is going to try to convince YOU that God cannot use you mightily because of the things you have done. But the good news is this: the wages of your sin (death) have already been PAID IN FULL.
That means you do not have to pay for it in perpetuity when you are in Christ Jesus. You have been washed clean and are not just allowed to, but commanded, to walk in the righteousness of the Lord.
What other people think of you or say about you behind your back is irrelevant. You now possess the same power that ROSE CHRIST FROM THE DEAD.
God does some of his greatest work in the most broken people. Don't be ashamed of that. It's your testimony..
@LivingGodsTruth So true! We find it everywhere, not just on social media but also in our everyday interactions. This is just the digital manifestation of what we all do everyday due to our fallen natures. "Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger". This applies also yo the typed word
"Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion. It is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ." —Billy Graham
I know this is doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but I do not owe every person who asks me a question my time to answer them.
If I answered every "Why did you...!?!?!?" question someone asked me on the internet, I would never get anything consequential accomplished. Ever. It would literally take every second of every day.
I did not and do not endorse aspects of PW's theology and said that in the pod ppl point to (they always remove the part where I mention theological disagreement).
I do support her work advancing the *policies* she has worked to advance via role w White House Faith Office that will be a blessing to the Church in America.
I cheer any manner in which she has influenced the President toward Christ and from my (admittedly very limited, but firsthand) awareness that seems to have legitimately happened in some meaningful ways.
I think the rules are very different when you're doing politics which requires extremely broad coalitions to drive change vs when you're doing local church ecclesiology. Daniel, Moses, and Nehemiah could support pagan kings in the political realm for the good of the people of God, but they would not have supported the pagan kings into the priesthood. Different rules.
*this is off-cuff response, I'm sure there's something above I could word more carefully
This is breathtaking.
“I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.” Jeremiah 32:40–41
Let this be on record, for everyone who follows me, especially if you are Provisionist.
I have never read a word of John Calvin, and I have no plan to. I am not a fan of him, though I respect the man and his work. I have not read Augustine either.
I am from India, and books on Reformed theology or church history are hard to get here. Amazon is the only place that has them, and by the time shipping and taxes are added, I cannot afford them. So even if I wanted to learn my doctrine from these men, I could not have done it.
I came out of a Hindu home and then a Pentecostal church. What I believe today, I found by reading the Bible. I had never even heard the words "Reformed theology" until readers from other countries told me that was the name for what I was writing.
I have mentioned John MacArthur and RC Sproul in my testimony, and I want to be clear about why. I was confused by what I was reading in Scripture, because it did not match what I had been taught, and no pastor I knew in India had an answer for me. When I found their teaching on YouTube, it confirmed what I had already seen in the Bible. They did not give me my doctrine.
I argue only from Scripture. If what I say sounds like Calvin or Augustine to you, then the problem is with you and not me, because we took our doctrine from the same Bible. So do not answer me by naming a man. Open the Bible and show me where I am wrong, and I will listen.
The Bereans did not take even Paul's word for it. They were "examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so" (Acts 17:11). Do the same with everything I write.
If you could bring any pastor in history back for one day (minus anyone in the Bible) to hear one sermon in the flesh, or travel back in time or whatever , who would it be ?
Charles Spurgeon for me.
