I'm bummed I don't have time to pay attention to regular season basketball. Hearing about Avdija and now finally watching him and this Portland team for the first time feels like I was at some club seeing a local band with a friend who wouldn't stop telling me how good they were
I really hope this isnβt the case with #3, but a somewhat disturbing trend appears to be emerging with the way the Sox evaluate defensive prowess:
1. Mastaka Yoshida: he will be a perfectly fine LF. Just kidding - he sucks and is unplayable in the OF!
2. Kristian Campbell: he will be a + defender at 2B. Just kidding - he sucks and is literally the worst defensive position player in baseball!
3. Roman Anthony: he will be an elite defender and displace Jarren Duran in LF. Just kidding - his arm is trash and it was the second worst amongst RFs last season!
4. Triston Casas: heβll be totally fine at 1B . . . eh, why even bother with this one.
The West Coast-East Coast time zone divide in professional sports presentations needs to be addressed. This Blazers-Suns game is awesome but I live in NH. Like what the fuck? 85% of the people here are asleep they have to work in the morning
