Introducing ChatGPT Work, a new agent in ChatGPT powered by Codex and GPT-5.6.
It can take action across your apps and files, stay with a project for hours if needed, and turn a goal into finished work.
It’s a whole new way to get work done.
It’s all going to end, very soon, enjoy it.
“At your funeral, your friends and family will argue over who gets what.
People will want food to eat.
The topic will shift from your life to their lives.
They’ll drive away thinking about their looming to-do list.
Some people won’t be able to make it because ‘something came up’
And we worry about…a low performing post on social media.
Or what someone “thinks of us”.
Or a bad customer review.
Or whether we’re going to finish our to do list in time.
We die like we go to sleep.
With things unsaid and unfinished.
The only judge who has complete context on our lives, dies with us.
A reminder of the heavy weight we place on things that matter little.”

What was your great-great grandfather called?
…?
In 4 generations, no one will know your name.
Not even the people who share your genes.
Stop taking everything so seriously and just enjoy the ride.
Sam Harris makes a point here that's hard to dismiss: most people can't stay undistracted for 30 seconds. Not because they're lazy — because they've never built the capacity. And that's not a trivial problem.
If your emotional state is just a byproduct of whatever thought randomly surfaces next, you're not really steering anything.
The fix, according to Sam, is learning to notice thoughts as appearances in awareness rather than being identical to them — and mindfulness meditation is the most direct way to start building that skill.
Paperwork is better when you can just talk through it.
With Images in ChatGPT and voice mode, you can upload a form, say what to fill in, and get back a completed version.
Why so many people throw vitriol around online.
“The key to understanding most online debates is that a lot of people take joy in being angry.
It’s their preferred mindset because it makes them feel morally superior to the other side.” — @morganhousel
How can I throw money at this problem? How can I “waste” money to improve the quality of my life?
One of Dan Sullivan’s sayings is: “If you’ve got enough money to solve the problem, you don’t have the problem.”
In the beginning of your career, you spend time to earn money. Once you hit your stride in any capacity, you should spend money to earn time, as the latter is nonrenewable.
It can be hard to make and maintain this gear shift, so the above questions are in my regular journaling rotation.
In the 3 years since I severely herniated a disc at L5/S1, I’ve tried everything under the sun to rehab and prevent reinjury.
If I had to recommend just one exercise, it would be this one.
It’s the single best exercise for strengthening the posterior chain and the intricate scaffold of muscles that support the spine.
It’s a $100 piece of equipment (link in the comments below).
Start with static holds and work your way up to 2 minutes.
Then start moving as shown below and work your way up to 3 sets of 30.
Then you can do more advanced things like added weight and one-leg static holds.
A 3-minute deep squat each morning plus this exercise 2-3 times a week plus hanging knee lifts is a great basic back mobility program.

Chris Williamson & Mark Manson drop a brutal wake-up call:
Adults don't exist.
- Steve Jobs delayed pancreatic cancer treatment for carrot juice & acupuncture
- Mozart died broke, begging friends for money
- Nietzsche caught syphilis in a brothel, sold only ~300 books in his lifetime
- MLK had 40+ extramarital affairs, attacked a woman, spent his last night with two women
- Newton wasted 30 years on alchemy pseudoscience (hidden by embarrassed heirs)
George Mack's essay hits hard: The "degen" kids from university who couldn't get up on time or finish assignments... grew up to become your teachers.
It's idiots all the way down.
No one's coming to save you. The adults aren't real. Stop waiting for them.
Kill your gurus. Stop pedestalizing. Start owning your own life.
Who was the biggest "adult" you realized was just winging it too?
