It only took HOURS for Brian Scalabrine to admit he made up lies about Jaylen Brown to make him look bad.
This is EXACTLY why nobody takes the media seriously…..
@KareemRon33@king1sed@Lakerschipp Now it’s 2, but I held this opinion before the season started, and I suspect I’ll be proven right by around the all star break
Ok... let me actually tell you a bit of something:
Tatum shot 38.8% from the field, while Brown averaged 44%... Tatum also averaged 3.2 turnovers per game to Browns 2.8... TS% goes in Browns favor to 53.5% to Tatums 50.5%.
Let's go deeper... things that don't show up on the scoreboard:
Brown was the primary defender on Luka Doncic for over 150 possessions (more than twice as many as any other Celtic)... In those possessions, the Mavs offensive rating dropped to 84.8 ... major drop from their OVERALL Finals rating of 108.4 and their other playoff series' of between 112-118.
Since the Brown-guarded posessions dragged the numbers down that far, the Mavs' offensive rating on the other remaining possessions (when Luka was guarded by someone else) had to be meaningfully higher than the series average of 108.4 to produce that overall figure.
Also, with Tatum's higher usage, it's sad that he only averaged like 1.4 ppg higher than Brown.
My QB walked down the Jaguars overseas, with blood clots moving to his lungs, off ZERO sleep (knowing it could be fatal) & staying in the hospital the night before.
I’ll never question your desire for this team again 💔
