@klm I can imagine you are overwhelmed dealing with covid impacts on travel. We are scheduled to fly tomorrow but tested pos. for covid. Call center disconnects calls and the link to change a reservation doesn’t work. How can we be sure our flight gets changed before take-off?
@Budget we drove across the Sierra Nevadas in snowy, freezing conditions in this Budget rental. The car won’t start. We found the word “battery” written in grease pen on the back window. #safetyfail#tripinterrupted oh, and six hours later, no assistance.
@Budget seeing this on the window of our rental after you sent us through the Sierra Nevadas in it. Now the car won’t start. Still waiting to hear back from roadside assistance and shudder to think what if we’d stopped en route. #Safetyfail#tripinterrupted
@KLM while totally understanding how busy airlines are, I am appalled that I have been in a whatsapp chat for five days with no confirmed resolution for my flight, which leaves in two days. This on top of two separate multi-hour stints on hold for over two hours.
Avoid @AvasFlowers On 4/24 I ordered flowers for my mom, marking her recently deceased husband's bday. I received an email stating that they were delivered on 4/24. After being on hold for ages your rep says they would be delivered on 4/28. I could have arranged something else!
@gioia_morasch for some reason I think you would appreciate this one, my comrade in concepts. Or, you know, tell me what you really think;-). ps-hi! https://t.co/LzY8CCndwO

Thinking about how best to support developing #writers. It's been a while but here's a blog post focusing on looking at student work. My goal is to post samples to highlight and share the journey. #ibpyp#tcrwp#kindergarten#communicationskills#pypchat

...and this: "Not only that, but the lessons taught in the long run, to be motivated by the approval or disapproval of others, are certainly not what we wish for our children."
This: "Rewards and punishments may appear to work in the moment...but human nature dictates that, being unnatural consequences, the value of the rewards and the severity of the punishments must be regularly increased or they lose their effectiveness."
A1: Writing makes writers. Providing kids with opportunities to grow their own identities as storytellers, teachers, and creative thinkers is powerful. I also love the post below with more thoughts on emergent writing:
