Respectfully, I'm going to have to side with Garth on this one. He is one of the most thoughtful people in the college basketball business. No one loves International hoops more than I do but the wave of European pros, @nbagleague league players and @NBA draft picks has gotten out of control. Almost everyone agrees that it would be common sense to change this process. My European agent friends might be disappointed, but they will smile when they realize that theyโve made a fortune in a short period of time.
Cale Jacobsen would have a #Nebrasketball program best AST/TO ratio (+2.6) since Jamar Johnson in '94 (+2.8) if it weren't for Pryce Sandfort (+2.9) who'd have the program best since Brian Carr in '86 (+3.0) if it weren't for Sam Hoiberg (+4.9) who has the best AST/TO ratio in program history.
With his record about to be broken, here's a look at the go-ahead from Cary Cochran (pronounced co-horn), 1999 at Kansas.
You'll hear some familiar names in this clip including the game clinching FT's by the late Larry Florence.
Prior to his death, I gave Larry a copy of this game.

@CollegeHoopsTIk Just go watch it, decide for yourself. I'm biased. But do not try to tell me that is sustainable. B1G teams can't exist in postseason, maybe why it is a 25 season drought. How you learn to play in conference matters. Not realistic.
@casualbigten This is exactly why Michigan cannot win it all, they would have had so many players in foul trouble and Neb would have had some opportunity .Michigan was hunting whistles. You can't win a championship that way. B1G teams will always struggle in March because of this.
The @HuskerMBB student managers make a huge impact behind the scenes.
From countless hours of work to scrimmaging opposing managers before games, their dedication never goes unnoticed. They gain real experience while staying connected to the game they love ๐
