@davidsirota By blaming it on Biden it makes it so the rest of Party Leadership can continue on their merry little way as if they had nothing to do with it.
No go vote harder, plebs!
@Rainmaker1973@JoelBlackford1 The whole "never mess with an MC" advice absolutely has the correlary that helping an MC member in a wholesome way is always a good idea. And 99% of MCs are actually pretty cool in my experience.
@JamieMetzl It's funny how you folk used to tell DSA types to build coalitions and win primaries if they wanted to be taken seriously by the Party. Then they did that and now you want them to leave just because the coalition they built doesn't include you.
@neeratanden@themeasuredtake I think it's odd that you got accused of supporting a genocide and drinking and that drinking was the thing you took acception to. Almost like the other thing doesn't seem like a bad thing to you.... ๐ค
This is not how a super power speaks to a client state when they actively fuck with their foreign policy. Can ever imagine China taking similar bullshit from North Korea?
@ThomasJ79x@TheMaineWonk@CypherSafe One day you guys are going to remember that Google is completely free to use before you say easily verifiable bullshit on the internet.
Alas, that day is not today.
@HunterBiden It should be noted too that Joe Biden's kong term friendship with Strom Thurmond and him fighting school bussing for integration of schools had a much larger impact on historically oppressed communities than a tattoo, but we were expected to give him grace about it.
@kenklippenstein Pretty sure the Maine electorate heard about his policies. And the fact that his policy proposals ran the establishment pick out of the race is why they would prefer to focus on hacky smear campaigns rather than what he is proposing.
@janehummer@luke_tagle@ryangrim Hey, cool! Thank you for clarifying that. That's awesome.
And because I am just a relatively informed pleb... That *is* a wildly high undecided percentage compared to what you would see on average right?
@GeorgeWept Collins isn't moderate, just "concerned". As for Platner, I doubt the current Senate membership would be able to pass the same standards tests of personal conduct.
It's not that we think he's an angel. It's that we wonder who you think you're fooling.
@luke_tagle@ryangrim That's a ridiculous amount of undecided 20 days out. It would be better if they had done a section of the poll where they asked which way the undecideds were leaning.
@HowardA_AtLaw There's kind of a civil war going on in the Democratic Party and no one is really confused which side people are on anymore. We get it. It's gonna be a sad day when you realize how much the Dem base hates you, but ok. I'm sure the GOP will welcome you with open arms. ๐คท
@trouble_man90 In fairness, it is true. That Platner makes people who like the only two people who ever lost an election to the former host of Celebrity Apprentice this mad is an asset, not a liability.
That you can't fathom why everyone hates you, is more of a you problem though.
@ryangrim He'd better serve as a surrogate for candidates that are aligned to his world view. Until you have a solid coalition in Congress, putting a leftish Dem in the White House is pointless except for the PR. And then we look like shit for not being able to govern.
