Disillusioned Democrat. Woman. Survivor. Voter. Glitter enthusiast. Anti-antisemites. Anti-communist. The lady in red when everybody else is wearing tan.
Learning right now exactly which of you self-described “progressives” would hide Jews in your attic, which would quietly sell out your Jewish neighbors, which would proudly put on your swastika armbands, and which of you would sit in silence so as not to offense your nazi friends
don't forget: residents are "not welcome" to live in Dearborn if they criticize the city for naming a street after a Hamas/Hezbollah sympathizer, according to Dearborn's mayor https://t.co/Ow1EgzKp7L
If you are a Republican who won't say that Tucker Carlson is antisemitic, you are a coward.
If you are a Democrat who won't say that Abdul El-Sayed is antisemitic, you are a coward.
Tommy, thank you for asking. Let me explain why I believe Abdul El-Sayed would be a dangerous choice for the United States Senate and why I believe patriotic Democrats should oppose his candidacy.
1) Support for authoritarianism and censorship: In 2012, El-Sayed signed a statement backing Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi’s extraordinary executive powers and calling for a purge of Egypt’s media and police. This is an appalling endorsement of authoritarian measures and suppression of the press.
2) Troubling denials of Muslim Brotherhood family ties: El-Sayed categorically denied family connections to the Muslim Brotherhood despite his half-sister’s public statements describing longstanding family involvement. This glaring discrepancy raises serious questions about his candor, character, and credibility.
3) Appalling response to antisemitic terrorism: After the terrorist attack on Temple Israel synagogue in Michigan, El-Sayed invoked the attacker’s grievances against Israel and declared that “hurt people hurt people,” appearing to rationalize terrorism against innocent American Jews. He subsequently apologized under extreme duress, but his initial response revealed profoundly troubling judgment.
4) Embrace of extremist Hasan Piker: El-Sayed aggressively campaigned alongside Hasan Piker despite Piker’s notorious declaration that America deserved 9/11 and his inflammatory anti-American, antisemitic and pro-terrorist rhetoric. His willingness to elevate Piker for political advantage demonstrates a disturbing tolerance for extremism and incitement.
5) Failure to distinguish allies from adversaries: El-Sayed refused to identify Iran as a greater threat to America than Israel. His inability to draw this fundamental distinction raises grave concerns about his national-security judgment.
6) Threat to America’s global security commitments: El-Sayed opposes unconditional American military assistance to foreign countries and advocates redirecting resources toward domestic spending. This raises serious concerns about his willingness to sustain the military partnerships essential to deterring Chinese aggression against Taiwan and defending American interests alongside our allies in Europe, Japan, South Korea, and elsewhere.
7) Support for defunding the police and political backtracking: El-Sayed advocated shifting funding away from police, deleted relevant social media posts, and subsequently distanced himself from his earlier position. This raises serious questions about his public-safety judgment and political integrity.
8) Using accusations of Islamophobia to deflect legitimate scrutiny: El-Sayed has characterized questions about his documented support for Morsi and his family’s alleged Muslim Brotherhood connections as Islamophobic. Religious prejudice is unacceptable, but legitimate questions about a candidate’s political record demand honest answers.
Tommy, I believe deeply in the best values of inclusion and opportunity of the modern Democratic Party. I also believe that patriotism, democratic principles, opposition to extremism, public safety, and a clear-eyed understanding of America’s national-security interests must transcend party loyalty.
I am all for backing Democratic candidates with a compelling vision for our nation's future, but we Democrats will do immeasurable harm to ourselves by supporting candidates like El-Sayed who have shown themselves, in word and deed, to be unworthy of our trust.
That’s what I mean when I say that Abdul El-Sayed does not represent the values of our party or our nation and that Democratic voters can (and imo should) express their commitment to Democratic and democratic values by not voting for him.
I am a proud and loyal Democrat. I served in President Clinton’s National Security Council and worked for Madeleine Albright at the State Department. I ran for Congress as a Democrat, have voted Democratic all my life, and expect to continue doing so.
But I would never vote for Abdul El-Sayed. In my judgment, he does not represent the values of our party or our nation. I urge my fellow patriotic Democrats in Michigan to leave the Senate line blank or vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
This is an exceptional case, and I do not make this recommendation lightly. We can support Democratic majorities nationally while refusing to support a candidate who violates our core values. Loyalty to our party should strengthen our principles, never require us to abandon them.
This is the closing case against Abdul El-Sayed. It's accurate, clear, and compelling.
From concerns about his foreign policy positions to his ethical judgment to his antisemitism, El-Sayed fails.
El-Sayed is unfit and should not be elected.

We’re still waiting for Abdul El Sayed to say “I disavow the Muslim Brotherhood” or “Attacking a synagogue with 100 Jewish toddlers inside is never acceptable” or “Iran is an adversary of the United States.”
An organization so extreme, they are banned in 5 Muslim majority nations is celebrating him. 🤔
@AbdulElSayed works for the Muslim Brotherhood. This Muslim Brotherhood. Vote wisely, MI. Oh & for women who are pro-choice, if the Muslim Brotherhood gets into power, they'll force you to have more kids & marry off your daughters.
A reminder for those keeping score at home:
Abdul himself signed a statement of support for the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012.
His mom worked for a group funneling money to Bin Laden.
His dad was on the board of a group funneling cash to Saddam Hussein.
His sister-in-law was on Obama's terrorist watchlist.
And his own sister repeatedly confirmed their family was MB.

CNN: Haley Stevens calls on Abdul El-Sayed to denounce Tucker Carlson
“When you’re propping up Tucker Carlson, that makes a whole lot of people in our Black community feel less safe and targeted.”
That’s what happens when you let stupid ass Morris Katz run your campaigns.
His whole schtick is trying to present an image of faux masculinity and make his candidates look like movie stars.
He’s trying to vibe Abdul into a Senate seat
Abdul El-Sayed will be the downfall of the Democratic Party. He is a walking nightmare and security risk. Democrats let their cowardice and leftists dictate their own economic and moral collapse.
