Four states are suing Meta for $1.4 trillion.
That is one trillion four hundred billion dollars.
Meta’s entire market cap is $1.5 trillion.
So they are asking for 93 percent of the company’s existence.
The math is simple. Number of teenagers exposed to addictive design times the maximum fine per violation under state law.
Millions of teenagers times thousands of dollars per violation.
Equals one trillion four hundred billion.
Meta said no case in history has ever ordered a penalty that large.
They are correct.
No company has ever deliberately engineered a product specifically to addict children then lied about it at scale until Meta.
New Mexico went to trial first.
Jury found Meta liable.
Ordered $375 million in damages.
The judge let the bigger case proceed.
Now four states are asking for 3,733 times that amount.
Meta’s executives told investors to expect material losses on youth scrutiny.
They did not mention $1.4 trillion in the filing.
If the jury sides with the states even partially.
Meta cannot survive the verdict.
Capital raises. Asset sales. Restructuring.
All of it.
The company that said social media addiction is not a real psychiatric condition.
Is about to find out if a jury disagrees.
The trial is August 18.
This article from GameSpot stating that there's no reason to buy a new Xbox or Playstation console.
1) Dev cycles are now 6-10 years. Scattered release schedule.
2) Consoles will be VERY expensive.
3) Devs will still release games on current hardware.
I agree 👇🏽
Not enough people are talking about flock. In the last month ive talked about it to people who had no idea it existed. The media is working so hard to make sure we dont even know what it is. We need to talk about it!!!
The FBI is investigating Argentina’s football federation.

I grew up in a relatively poor small town. Every year we had to fight to keep sports programs alive. Every year myself and others had to get fees as low as $150 for the season waived in order to play. Youth sports are for kids not to fill the bank accounts of private equity freaks.
Thierry and Zlatan saying they wouldn't have become soccer players because of the costs of the American youth system, then seeing Lalas say it's a great system because it makes a lot of money for some people really sums it all up nicely
Landon Donovan says America is missing soccer talent because kids can’t afford to play.
“Only 2% of kids playing organized soccer in America came from households that made less than $50,000.”
“If you don’t make $50,000, your kid cannot play organized soccer.”
“Think about how many kids you’re missing out on in this country because they can’t afford to play the game.”
“There is zero chance I could have played club soccer.”
“My mom made $34,000 a year, single mom raising three kids.”
“She couldn’t pay $4,000 for me to play club. Are you kidding? She couldn’t pay $400.”
“That’s not a good system to create good players.”
Fizeram um compilado de 4 minutos mostrando os lances em que a Argentina foi favorecida contra o Egito.
Simplesmente um escândalo mundial. Quanta sujeira envolvida. 🤢
BREAKING: For the first time, central banks plan to cut U.S. dollar holdings over the next decade while increasing allocations to gold and the euro, per Reuters
🚨🗣️ Zlatan Ibrahimović: "I don't understand how Argentina always gets favoured by FIFA, they clearly disallowed a legal goal of Egypt and they gave Argentina 8 Penalties in the last 12 World Cup games, I don't understand why the other countries are letting it happen".
From @TheAthleticFC: The Egyptian team was left angered by several refereeing decisions as it exited the World Cup, with both the team's head coach, Hossam Hassan, and star forward Mostafa Ziko saying the referees favored Argentina. https://t.co/8dPNkYgr5j
🚨Paul Scholes on Mo Salah and Egypt being eliminated by Argentina.
🗣️“This is the greatest robbery in football history I’ve ever witnessed, from the beginning of the game till the end there wasn’t any favorable decision for the Egyptian national team. You don’t have to bring in excuses for such controversial decisions in the end.”
“It’s sad and you can see how emotional and heartbreaking the fans look after the game, it’s not what we expected from the game today. A false penalty and many other decisions that isn’t meant to be taken, we just have to admit the fact that it was rigged and there’s nothing we can do about this.”
“It’s Lionel Messi and we all know why this happened today against the Egyptian team, this wasn’t how football is supposed to be played but they ruin everything with their favorite decisions.”
🚨Thierry Henry on Argentina eliminating Egypt from the FIFA World Cup:
🗣️ “For me, this feels like football robbery in broad daylight.
I’m not taking anything away from Argentina’s quality because they have world-class players, but I don’t think they deserved to win this match. Egypt worked incredibly hard to build a two-goal lead. They defended with courage, attacked with confidence and earned every bit of that advantage.
The turning point, in my opinion, was the refereeing. I didn’t agree with the penalty that was awarded to Argentina earlier in the game, and after that it felt as though every important decision was going against Egypt. Whether people agree or disagree, those moments changed the rhythm of the match and gave Argentina the momentum they desperately needed.
Egypt will leave this tournament feeling heartbroken because they were so close to one of the greatest victories in their history. Sometimes football is decided by brilliant moments, and sometimes it’s decided by controversial decisions. Tonight, I believe the officiating will be discussed just as much as the football itself.”
The fact that Mo Salah with the Egyptian coach and staff keeps urging the referee to review the VAR but they neglected and never did tells you everything you need to know.
