Uncoachable players have short careers.
They flinch at feedback.
They make excuses.
They need praise.
The best?
They hunt coaching.
Feedback is a gift. Cash it in.💰
Being part of a team requires sacrifice.
It's not about what's best for you individually, it is about what's best for the whole. You must buy-in to the vision of the team.
Commitment over convenience.
Easier said than done.
Reject your ego.
Serve.
Your reputation, influence and people are worth more than a win today. Don’t sacrifice your values for short term success. You’ll win in the long run by sticking to your values.
Live the standard, always.
Hey athletes…
I promise you can lift even if you:
“Have a game tomorrow.”
“Have a big tournament coming up.”
“Just played today.”
“Just played yesterday.”
“Just had practice.”
Stop thinking strength training is automatically some taboo “make you sore,” event
You don’t get better because of what you plan to do or talk about doing or think about doing.
You get better because of what you do.
Take action. Do the work.
Student-athletes who skip class, hide in the weight room, disrespect teachers, and make excuses are bad teammates. How you do one thing, is how you’ll do everything. You can’t flip the switch. Being a winner is about being consistently good.
