@matt_carlucci @NateMonroeTU I agree to me they look like a much better team than they have the past few years. Just got to find a way to finish. The only thing that gets me is the under use of James Robinson. I'm sure there's a reason. I just can't think of it.
This dude is a legit JEA employee. Hey, @NewsfromJEA - are linemen and other field folks not getting some kind of hazard pay? Seems like the nature of the current crisis would justify that.
@KStewart_JEA @NateMonroeTU @ChrisHongTU Why did you say on air multiple times that privatization was only one of many options being considered, when documents since made public show the leadership of the company was clearly focused on preparing JEA for sale? Were you out of that loop? Or being deceptive?
JEA executives were investigating how the media was learning about developments within the utility. This exchange, from the VP of IT to the chief administrative officer, is a bit chilling. What a wonderful work environment these folks (several of whom remain at the top) fostered.
@ScheafferBMW @GuyFawkes_904@904scn @NateMonroeTU Never got mine either. They had the town hall scheduled to get indoctrinated. Then they announced the sale before the meeting. Kinda regret not going to get it.
This is why employees were so vocal against the sale. The people I know at JEA are in high demand careers and most would have landed on their feet pretty quick. But this is their home and they care about J-ville and JEA. No one was going to steal it without a fight.
Aaron Zahn is gone. Board members won’t be far behind. Who’s still at JEA? The people who never wanted any of this. The people who keep the lights on after this and other storms. The employees. https://t.co/wLM50fjocG
@stephendare@GarrettDennis_1 I'm not personally in his district but after closely watching and attending meetings these past few years I believe Jacksonville needs more representatives like @GarrettDennis_1 . If you doubt it go back and watch all the council meetings on JEA and see who has never wavered.
@Priestjax Has the board had the special meeting and canceled it yet? If not then this isn't over. It could be spun as a way Curry and others can say they they want it to stop publicly all while reinforcing Currys statement that the board has acted independently if board votes to continue.
@NateMonroeTU @ScheafferBMW I'm curious where COJ is going to get nitrogen credits that have been such a huge deal in the past from if they wont get them from JEA.
When the Cybertruck initially drove onto the stage, many in the crowd clearly couldn't believe that this was actually the vehicle they'd come to see https://t.co/uGJcnS5X7K
I want to #KeepJEAPublic! Mayor @lennycurry@CityofJax, listen to the voices of the people of Jacksonville who are signing this petition. https://t.co/tRjXS1b9fF https://t.co/tRjXS1b9fF
