@heroesahead@Scow21 I did not know that. On one hand I feel like that really shouldn't have affected anything with Finn, but on the other I don't see how anything Poe did later in the movie that would have made sense been if Han did it, which suggests very heavy rewrites.

@DragonShadows4@dracphelan@SCShipyards Well, before Rouge One, that might have only crippled the death star due to the massive size difference. But yea with Rouge One retconing the weakness into major sabatge compromising the death star, definitely

@heroesahead Which would have the added benefit of being able to relatively easily write good stories using legends as the basis with relatively minor reworking
@heroesahead I know, I am just saying that Disney could have still done the 30 year time skip for the new cannon and done a new version of the fractured galaxy, just because with how big the Star Wars universe is, it's not unreasonable to expect it to take 100 years for complete reunification
