When I first came to India, the space industry was closed to private players.

The most well-known "startup" at that time was TeamIndus. Skyroot didn't exist.

A year later, in 2018, Skyroot was founded. Private companies in India couldn't launch rockets yet, but Pawan and Bharath forged ahead regardless, optimistic that liberalisation would happen someday.

Then, in 2020, it did. Indian companies were finally free to compete with American, Russian, European, and Chinese startups. They could build their own launch vehicles. And satellites. At an undisclosed location in the United States, Elon swallowed hard.

I was publishing videos about Indian companies on YouTube at this point. I remember thinking, "Making content about these spacetech developments is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Now, ~6 years later, Skyroot has gifted India with the biggest white pill of all time. While the world watched, a team of ~1,000+ Indian optimists (with an average age of 28) flawlessly executed an orbital rocket launch.

No private space company IN THE WORLD has ever done this on their first try. As I write this, I have goosebumps. I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to witness this firsthand. I also feel inspired by the resilience, ingenuity, and wherewithal of the entire Skyroot team.

The next chapter of India's space journey has officially begun.

The crowd gathered at its foot dragged Ankit Sharma inside the building, lynched and threw the body in the adjoining drain

I feel vindicated. OpIndia and our coverage has prevailed. A battle fought for 6 years.

It was in July 2020 that I had analyzed the chargesheet against Tahir Hussain. The CS, including his disclosure statement, laid bare the sinister plot behind the anti-Hindu riots. He admitted not only how he wanted to kill “Kafirs” but how he created a fake alibi to convince police he was the victim. It was this alibi that was peddled shamelessly by @zoo_bear and @khanumarfa. That he made multiple PCR calls to get “help” since he was the victim of the riot. Hussain admitted that this was a ruse, while he gheraod the police, cutting them off from the location where he and his men were murdering Ankit Sharma and other Hindus.

Ankit Sharma’s body was recovered from the Chand Bagh drain on 26th February 2020. He was stabbed so many times that his intestines lay out of his body.

On the 27th, @sardesairajdeep was defending Hussain.

Today, 6 years later, Tahir has been convicted of the murder.

Deaths of thousands of Hindus by hands of Sikh terrorists can't be washed out by saying that both communities suffered. Hindus had no part to play in the violence.
Sikhs started it, killed thousands of Sikhs and Hindus in the process. "Both suffered" only because of Sikh religious and regional supremacist ideology which is still as toxic as ever. It is like saying both Nazis and European minorities suffered due to war started by Nazis.
