@duolingo I have been a subscriber for years with a long streak in Portuguese. I enjoyed innovations like the stories with actors’ voices bringing it to life. The new AI-generated ones are awful. The characters sound the same in a flat tone and nothing like the original voices.

@Trip l bought a train ticket with a seat reservation weeks ago from Bristol to Newcastle and the same seat was sold to someone else through @thetrainline today. A very busy train with few spare seats. How does this double booking happen and does it happen often?
I read that there has been a price hike in the last couple of months of around 6%. But this is way beyond that. Is there a problem with the ticketing system? Because if tickets are now increased by 30-40% 5 days ahead this is clearly an incentive to drive.
@LNER last night I was searching for return tickets from Newcastle to Brighton for this Friday. Typically the prices for this journey vary between £86 and up to £150 if you leave it to the day or the day before. Now the cheapest prices are all £200.
Less than #cannyGNEdriver on the 10a who just drove on while I was running and signalling to stop on Team Street, only to have to stop at temporary traffic lights up the street for several minutes anyway.
@UPS my package was delayed by a day, and now delayed further, if I try to change the delivery day because I will be at work I need to register an account and pay, for your unexplained delays. This is not the case with other U.K. services. Appalling service.
