My father, Elie Wiesel, received the Nobel Peace Prize for ensuring the Holocaust wouldn’t be forgotten. By honoring Navi Pillay, who accused Israel of genocide, the committee has betrayed his legacy. https://t.co/Bt9xzSJ8xX
Mr. Mayor, 3.8 million people read your version. Here's the one you buried.
You said ICE "surrounded him and a 5-year-old child in his car before firing."
Cute story. Here's the rest of it.
🔴 DHS says Oscar Belgal, 28, rammed ICE vehicles to get away.
🔴 YOUR police commissioner, Jessica Tisch, says NYPD video shows an officer at the front of his CR-V. Then the car moved forward.
🔴 DHS says he's here illegally, with a grand larceny conviction and prior arrests for assault, robbery, drugs and weapons.
🔴 DHS ties him to the Trinitarios, the gang whose members shot an off-duty CBP officer in this city last year.
He's not "a New Yorker."
He's a criminal illegal alien with gang ties and a rap sheet. The Trinitarios: born on Rikers Island, armed with machetes. They hacked 15-year-old Junior Guzman-Feliz to death outside a Bronx bodega. DHS ties them to the illegal alien who shot an off-duty CBP officer in the face last year.
He's the man who had his own kid in the backseat while he allegedly rammed federal officers.
ICE didn't put that boy in harm's way.
Thank God that little boy is safe.
The man who put him in danger was the one behind the wheel. Not the one wearing the badge.
And you?
You spent hours on the phone with the President begging for this guy's release.
Hours. For him.
That's who you fight for. Remember that, New York.
As a Muslim Arab, I am disgusted and heartbroken by what I saw across Western cities on October 7, 2026: people celebrating the October 7, 2023 massacre. Glorifying the murder, rape, and kidnapping of civilians is morally bankrupt, inhumane, and a disgrace to humanity. This wasn’t an ISIS or Al-Qaeda camp. This was in Western cities: people openly celebrating a massacre carried out by the filthy Muslim Brotherhood terrorists of Hamas against Jewish children, women, and civilians from all around the world in Israel. Utterly shameful.
How did we reach a point where this needs to be explained? An eight-month-old baby was kidnapped. Women were raped. Children were murdered. Families were slaughtered. Human beings were dragged from their homes.
No cause justifies this.
No country justifies this.
No grievance justifies this.
Nothing justifies raping a woman. Nothing justifies kidnapping a baby. Nothing justifies murdering innocent people.
And to see people in Western cities celebrating, glorifying, excusing, romanticising, or sanitising this horror in the name of “democracy” and “freedom of speech” is beyond disgusting.
It is morally bankrupt. Shameful. Depraved. Inhumane. Heartless. Indefensible.
What breaks my heart most is that we are even having this conversation.
When did rape require a political explanation?
When did kidnapping babies become something to celebrate?
When did massacring Jews become something people could cheer for in the streets and still pretend they were standing for humanity?
There is nothing progressive about celebrating barbarity. There is nothing courageous about glorifying terrorism. There is nothing democratic about cheering a massacre.
This is not humanity. This is a moral disgrace.
And the fact that anyone can celebrate such suffering should make every decent human being, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or otherwise, feel both heartbroken and furious.
Here is @NYCMayor Mamdani 13 days after October 7th accusing Israel of genocide. Yet, Israel didn’t launch its counterattack on Hamas until October 27th.
How is it possible for Israel to commit genocide a week before it launched its response to the massacre of 1,200 citizens and the kidnapping of 251 of its people?
Mamdani’s genocide talking point was part of his hateful rhetoric even before Israel had a chance to defend itself.
It has as much credibility now as it did then.
Who could have possibly believe that this hedious man would run for mayor of NYC and win. And still spews lies about Israeld. Mind boggling that this goes on and is permitted for someone in office.
This was Zohran Mamdani only 13 days after October 7. No one could have predicted that this unhinged radical would become New York's next mayor. Israel had not yet launched its ground invasion into Gaza and he was already screaming genocide
tnx @mazemoore for that video
So tired of hearing about innocent Gazans. They were cruel beyond our imagination or they cheered on Oct 7th
They promote hate of Israel to their children.
Mia Schem was a Drake fan. She listened to his music, admired him and even received clothing from his brand. Then she heard him say: “Pray for Gaza.”
For Mia, those words landed very differently.
Mia was shot and kidnapped from the Nova festival on October 7 and dragged into Gaza, where she spent 55 days in Hamas captivity. She says the wife of the man holding her sometimes fed her only once every two or three days, while his children would taunt her with food and then refuse to give it to her.
“They treated me like an animal in a cage.”
Mia says she initially believed that perhaps the women and children around her would show some humanity. Instead, she says she saw hatred being taught from childhood: “They teach the children from the beginning to hate, to become terrorists and to glorify death.”
Her friend Elia Toledano was kidnapped from Nova as well. He never came home alive.
So when Mia heard Drake’s message, she says she was shocked. And she had something to say to celebrities who speak so confidently about a reality they have never lived: “People don’t understand anything. They follow what other people say, like sheep.”
“I was kidnapped from my country and taken to Gaza. I know how they treated me there.”
That is the part Drake and every celebrity turning Gaza into a slogan should hear.
Mia does not know Gaza from TikTok, hashtags or celebrity activism. She knows it because she was dragged there wounded, held hostage, starved and tormented.
Before preaching to the world about Gaza, listen to the woman who was actually taken there against her will.
Her testimony matters more than any celebrity slogan.

Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists tortured, mutilated, and murdered 1,200 innocent civilians in Israel.
Among those slain were men, women, and children — including dozens of Americans.
We will never forget this act of barbarism against an ally and recommit ourselves to the defense of civilization.
Abdul El-Sayed said he doesn’t support defensive weapons for Israel tonight during the Michigan US Senate debate.
If you don’t support defensive weapons for Israel you support Islamic terrorism.
It’s black and white.

What a piece of S this Mayor Mamdani is. Why even acknowledge Oct 7 when most of your filthy nasty lies come out of your evil mouth. Israel retaliated against cowardly Hamas who put children in harms way purposely. Over 22000 killed were Hamas and thousands more were militants.
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.
Three years ago today, Hamas terrorists launched a brutal invasion into Israel that claimed 1,200 lives and took hundreds of hostages. In January 2024, I met with survivors in Israel and saw firsthand the heartbreaking aftermath of October 7th.
Today, because of the courage and sacrifice of IsraelI Forces, all the hostages have been restored to their families. Israel had no choice but to hunt down and destroy Hamas once and for all. America Stands with Israel🇺🇸🇮🇱
PRESIDENT TRUMP: “We will NEVER forget October 7th. We will NEVER forget the victims. And we will always stand against the forces of terror and evil.”
Thank you, @POTUS 🙏🏼🇺🇸🇮🇱
Wonder why Barak Hussein is endorsing El-Sayed❓Crazy it that where his allegiance is‼️I wouldn’t have blinked if he supported a mainstream Democrat of course. This is beyond the pale.
The presence of American universities in Qatar is an important way for the United States to promote U.S. values in the Middle East and create more lasting people-to-people connections. I was glad to visit with Sheikha Hind Al Thani in Doha’s Education City
🚨 Trump needs to designate the entire Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. All factions. No carve-outs.
Americans don’t take the country back by cheering. We take it back at the ballot box.
I’m very disappointed former President @BarackObama is campaigning for a known antizionist and antisemite.
Sayed is best friends with Hasan Piker. How a former President doesn’t see this as a problem is a problem in itself.
#RedWhiteAndJew
🚨 Coward. The U.S. branded the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon terrorists for backing Hamas. Abdul El-Sayed wants a Senate seat and still won’t say the words.
A man who cannot condemn a Hamas pipeline does not get the Senate.
