It was great to join state and local leaders last week as @Google outlined its $40B investment across Texas. This means real jobs, stronger energy infrastructure, and new opportunities for families right here in Midlothian and across our region. Proud to see our community at the center of Texas’ growth.
Investments like this wouldn't happen without the leadership of our local elected officials. In 2018 the Midlothian city council laid the groundwork that made this partnership possible; showing vision, consistency, and a commitment to long-term growth. Their work continues to pay off for our community today.
Last week’s Faith, Family & Fellowship event in Irving brought more than 150 Texans together for real conversation about family, faith, and the challenges folks are facing.
As I fly to D.C. today, the honesty, concerns, and steady faith you shared stay with me.
Today marks a monumental milestone for our nation. I was honored to preside over the House of Representatives as we voted on HR 1, the Big Beautiful Bill. This is a major step forward for the American people, and I look forward to seeing the President sign it into law tomorrow.
While I’m stuck in D.C., the team is having a great day in Jacksonville!
If you’re out at Tomato Fest, swing by and say hello—my team is there and ready to visit, answer questions, or just talk tomatoes. Wish I could be there, but I’ll see y’all next year!
Big thanks to the Judge for stopping by!
It’s time for the Mullahs in Iran to throw in the towel on their nuclear weapons ambitions. Come to the negotiating table with President Trump or continue to face crushing sanctions and Israeli strikes.
Green Berets are more than elite warriors; they’re strategic thinkers and master diplomats. @RepEllzey joins @FrancisRacioppi to explain how Green Beret, Congressman and National Security Advisor @michaelgwaltz brings people with nothing in common together to get the job done. It’s called Warrior Diplomat.
When America needs results, they send a Green Beret.

Spent my morning in Ennis today, and I couldn’t be more thankful to the Lions Club for having me for lunch. Great food, even better company.
It’s always a good time spending the day with people who care so deeply about their community.
Today, the For Country Caucus endorsed 20 NDAA requests to enhance U.S. military readiness, strengthen defense technology, and secure our nation’s defense infrastructure.

While I've been working in Washington to dismantle Texas Centrals' High-Speed Rail project at the federal level, my friends in Austin have been taking action on the state level. This week, after learning just how much of a boondoggle this project really is, the Texas House Committee on Transportation voted to subpoena Texas Central, compelling them to produce crucial documents—documents they clearly don't want the public to see.
I'm grateful for the leadership of Chairman @CodyforTexas, Chairman Craddick, Representative Little, Representative Patterson, and all the members of the Transportation Committee for taking this important step.
I’m proud to be Co-Chair of the @BipartisanVets for the 119th Congress. Over the next two years, we do what is needed to make our nation safer and more secure.
While I was in Dallas I stopped by the local @Bloomberg offices to visit with @JulieFineTX. We had a great conversation about what’s going in Washington and here in Texas.
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend a special event at the Luxembourg Embassy in Washington, where we paid tribute to the survivors of the Battle of the Bulge. This pivotal battle, fought from December 1944 to January 1945, was the last major German offensive on the Western Front during WWII. It resulted in approximately 19,000 American deaths, with countless others wounded or missing. Their courage and sacrifice during one of WWII's toughest battles are a testament to the strength of the human spirit. We must always remember and honor their service.
NEW: @RepEllzey announces his support for a bill to protect middle-class families & small businesses from excessive audits by the IRS. @CBSNewsTexas
Aviation innovation is happening right here in Texas. We are leading the nation in its defense development. I was proud to be with AVX this morning as they opened their doors in Fort Worth. What started from humble beginnings and a dream of five engineers has now blossomed into a company that develops technology to keep our nation safe. This is the American dream. This is patriotism.
