Urgent intervention required on SE Trust’s decision not to proceed with restoration of Emergency and Urgent Care services to pre Covid levels at the Downe hospital. Have emailed Trust CEO with number of queries and will be writing to the Minister asking him to intervene.
@mooreholmes24@richardtgarland So you told them the bonfires are symbolic of beacons lit to guide Williamite forces through Belfast lough and the camp fires of the Williamite army before the eve of battle? And when they asked why effigies or flags or posters are placed on them how did you explain that?
@BenLowry2@richardtgarland@deirdreheenan 3 lines one after another, doubled down, explain how it was a wrong perception by highlighting immigrants moving into ‘spare housing’ in PUL areas. if that’s a trigger that just lends to the perception of xenophobia and racism. CNR is different between NI and ROI not comparable.
@JamieBrysonLLB It’s almost as if they could predict which protest/demonstration would be likely to become violent and result in the need for counter measures. Like something must have happened within recent years for them to make the assumption. Might be easily googled as well.
@JamieBrysonLLB Quite sad what you consider ‘wins’. Literally denial of a shared culture and heritage which transcended the usual sectarian divide. Sport and language politicised purely due to the Home Rule bill pre partition. It’s accepted that both were common among those of all traditions.
@Tironianae 60 billion to project US military power on global scale allowing US army, navy and airforce to operate in multiple theatres without risk to carrier fleets. Also historically it’s been a real soft political power play, but it seems US doesn’t value soft power these days.
@Tironianae He doesn’t even know the ins and outs of the US judicial system so I’ll take what he says about other jurisdictions with a pinch of salt thank you.
@PeterMcCormack rather than campaigning against higher minimum wage you should be campaigning for govt more regulation energy costs etc those costs that are actually damaging to your business. Raising minimum wage would lead to further custom in hospitality if people have the disposable income
@PeterMcCormack Well as Cost of living increases wages must increase otherwise those valued employees you have cannot afford to live basic nevermind save for emergencies or improving life etc. the disparity between earnings and cost of living is stark now compared to decades past.
@jetrainer@_MegaPolitics@georgegalloway Only an American could have such a retrograde understanding of World War 2 and how the Axis were defeated and placing themselves as the singular saviour nation.
@sophielouisecc Or, and I know this may seem like logic so you’ll have to forgive me, govt could incentivise new business, invest in new growing sectors, increase national investment to attract foreign investment, look at sectors to invest in that can help to generate revenue, renationalise?
@columeastwood Are you saying the lack of regulation is serious or the trajectory for AI to become self learning in a meaningful way that could be exploited or could become uncontrollable?
@BillWrh1970@_MAGA_NEWS_ The US would feel one hell of a pinch. Also European investment is the top FDI contributor to the US. Over 3 trillion a year, finance and assets worth 14 trillion. So maybe time to start thinking things through rationally rather than spout BS
@BillWrh1970@_MAGA_NEWS_ You might be interested to know that a fair portion of US debt held by foreign entities resides in Europe, a sizeable portion of US finance and assets sit within Europe, and EU and other non-EU European countries are prime trading partners. Without the special US-Europe trade
