@post_liberal I think you're too soft on Clarke though. Marginal issues in the grand scheme of things, but his squad selection and reliance on guys like Hanley (not even a first choice at Hibs) is baffling when there are younger and better options.
@post_liberal Some interesting stuff in here - a lot of which I agree with. Would add: Scotland, unlike, say, Wales, has failed to produce a singularly brilliant player for some decades. There's no one who by will or skill can drag the collective across the line.
๐ฎ๐ท Supporters of Mohammad Mosaddegh, Tehran, Iran, early 1950s.
Crowds gathered in Tehran to support Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh after he nationalized Iran's oil industry. In 1953, he was overthrown by Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in a coup backed by the United Kingdom and the United States. Mosaddegh was later placed under house arrest, where he remained until his death.
No one who believes that Irish families do not deserve justice should be anywhere near Labour leadership. And disgracefully smearing those families is of a part with the arrogance that made the Brits feel they were untouchable.
By no means the biggest story out of the latest Mandelson files release - but its remarkable that serving ministers actually spent their time trying to get fellow PPE grads to vote for Mandelson in the Oxford chancellor race. Clown country stuff.
Unions representing public sector workers will be look on with horror at the appointment of a Cabinet minister with the role of "Public Service Reform".
Job cuts on the way.
This billboard under a mile from Tynecastle has been hijacked with an image of Derek McInnes crying! ๐
The Hearts boss was of course on the losing side as Celtic nicked the title from the Jambos' grasp in a final day decider.
@Layo_FH@UnderSneege Respectfully, I don't think Palace/Dons is anywhere near the same as Hibs/Hearts. I don't want them to win a raffle. Ever.
Maybe I'm just very, very petty though!
