In CA there’s no “required” 9th history content so I do mini units like psych, soci, geo, anthro, & CA activism.
However, now I’m looking for ideas/content to use in this course, we call WH (it’s only 1 semester) that doesn’t interfere with other courses.

@MrsPateHistory I teach this at my school, student take this 1st semester & health 2nd semester. I do a unit on basic psychology, culture/anthro, geography, and CA history (specifically activism & migration). I start out with basics like note taking skills, analyzing sources, stuff like that.

@Reyes_GSU This is really good...I have students tell me often that they're not creative or whatever and don't want to share and rather than talk them through it I give in and modify to what they "feel comfortable" with. This will really help me going forward.
