In #UttarPradesh its been 7 days have passed since the oath ceremony of the new ministers but portfolios are yet to be allocated.

-In the past 10 years, it has rarely happened that departments were not assigned for such a long period after a cabinet expansion.

-Sources in the #BJP indicate that the delay is mainly due to a tussle over heavyweight departments.

-Both Deputy CM's are also said to be pushing for key portfolios, which has added to the deadlock.

-Eyes on PWD, Power, Law, Food & civil supply department. 3 out of 4 these depts are currently being held by the CM Yogi Adityanath.

Visited Jai Prakash Narayan's village Sitab Diara in Chhapra. Met 63-year-old Bhagwan Mallah who calls him "JP ka Sewak". He takes care of his old house.
