@Coach_Nsmitty@chriscfore@latsondheimer@SteveFryer@LHHighlanders My takeaway is that it devalues the regular season and leagues. Under the current system it gives the average to poor teams a better chance than the teams that have a great season. You don’t see the great stories where a team has a once in a decade team and wins CIF
@chriscfore@Coach_Nsmitty@latsondheimer@SteveFryer@LHHighlanders I was doing a 4 year data dive since the old system was only around for 4 years (2016-2019). So I could compare 4 years with the current system vs 4 years with the old system. 2015 and earlier they had everyone from a league in the same division (Southwest, Central, etc)
@latsondheimer@PatioJoeRef@TheNextGenTakes Then like I originally stated we need to push to get the rules changed so that someone doesn’t miss a championship game because of this. It is not the refs fault they are enforcing the rules as they are currently written.
@MrItHappens When you run on the field without a helmet on. A lot of times that is how fights start, since the other team doesn’t appreciate you doing it in their face. That is why I wanted to see video, to see if he came off the sideline and without a helmet on.
@latsondheimer I haven’t seen any video posted of this one. What exactly did he do to cheer on the backup running back? All everyone has been talking about is the penalty for spinning the football.
@James_Escarcega @LHHS_Basketball@LHHSAthletics1@FrankieBur@RonMFlores Yet they still don’t give us a home game in the state playoffs. Hmmm. Winning CIF doesn’t earn a home game, large crowds and $$ don’t earn a home game, so what does?
