Loving life in SC. Dentist and nightly wine sipper. Have a wife of over 25 years and grown kids who pay their own bills. Thankful to be living the dream.
It’s important that you understand what happened last night.
Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue.
In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired.
CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.”
In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump.
But censorship always backfires.
Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.

I lost my job, my kids have measles, and Trump's personal Gestapo is randomly executing American citizens. But at least now there won't be any non-binary characters on the new Paw Patrol spin-off.
Adding your name to a memorial already named in honor of a great man doesn’t make you a great man. Quite the contrary. Putting your name on top of someone else’s doesn’t mean that people will speak of you in the same breath as the other man. Putting your name above another man’s name on his existing memorial… What is that about? Truly? What’s that about? Do you want people to speak the names as one? Dig down deep. What are you trying to say? I’m really interested. There is no other president who would do this. None. Zero. In fact, it’s not even legal. Congress named the performing arts center as a living memorial in 1964, and only congress can change that law.
This will always be the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Art. A great man would have said to his hand picked board, “Thank you, but the building already has its name. Let it stand. Let it be. I don’t need that.” But then again…
That’s 👏 Not 👏 How 👏 This 👏 Works 👏.
The Pentagon is working—STILL—to make up a legal rationale for slaughtering 11 people, 1,500 miles from America, AFTER THE FACT? WHAT? You can’t do this after they’re dead. That is a crime. That is murder.

I'm Dr. Annie Andrews. I’m a pediatrician, not a politician. But either way I know how to handle people who are full of sh*t.
Today I am announcing my campaign for US Senate to replace Lindsey Graham. RT if you're with me.
Pete Hegseth today announced he's "proudly" ending a Pentagon program intended to advance women's participation in peace-building and security.
The program was signed into law by Trump in 2017 with the support of Kristi Noem, Marco Rubio and Ivanka Trump.

No, America, Trump can't replace income taxes on those making under $200,000 with tariffs. Trump is hoping you are too dumb to understand how taxes work.
Entirely removing income taxes for those making under $200K would cost the government approximately $1 trillion in revenue each year.
A 10% tariff across the board on all US imports would generate only around $310 Billion/year.
Even a 25% tariff across the board would only bring in approximately $780 Billion/year.
Even a 35% tariff on all US imports wouldn’t work because as tariffs go up, imports decline, resulting in less tariff revenue. A 35% tariff would likely shrink the number of imports by 25-40%, meaning it’s virtually impossible to replace income taxes with tariffs.
Remember tariffs are still a tax on Americans. Trump won't tell you this because he hopes you are stupid.
The amount of additional revenue for the US government might go up slightly due to his tariffs, but cost of goods for American consumers will go up too, all while our trade partners likely put tariffs on American made products as well.

I’m sure all the people losing their retirement, jobs, and health care because of Trump are glad to see the White House turned into a car dealership for the richest man on the planet.
