@jchervinsky thanks for the concise update Jake, i covered Singapore's legislation & regs in this space (on https://t.co/F8Siy5JMYx) -- and i think you guys have it much worse from an innovation vis-à-vis regs standpoint. it must be frustrating.
Singapore's #financialregulations are generally #crypto-friendly, but there's a ton of #legalese in them that #FinTech Founders struggle to uds & comply with. (i barely survived🥴)➡️check out https://t.co/F8Siy5JMYx for regs transformed into biz owner-friendly bite-sized Q&As!
Having long benefited from contributions by the open-source community to aid us in building our #KnowledgeManagement platform for law firms & legal depts, we are now in a position to give back as well -- by open-sourcing our react-pdf library: https://t.co/4bLDLeSaUU💝
#KMSystem
"System first, then tools." No it's not a chicken-and-egg situation; fundamentals/principles are rarely dependent on technological advances if you are clear with your assumptions and what you want (objectives). 🤔
This is good advice for people who want to break into PM (or a lot of other roles). Writing forces you to clarify your own thoughts (which is valuable in and of itself) & has external benefit that it might get the attention of interesting people
It's here! @wearelegalgeek is a major highlight on the #legaltech calendar. We're excited to be a part of it again this year, with the support of @Eagle_Labs_Law. Look out for @changziqian, @JXTG, and Ellery Sutanto in their INTELLLEX tees and come chat with us at our booth!
thanks for stopping by our humble workspace last night 🇸🇬#Clojure folks! was fun hosting you guys #onPrem last night 😉 #HMU if you wanna know how we went from #0to1 rapidly with Clojure, happy to share. 🏎️
Thanks to everyone who came to the #Clojure Meet-up last night! Great people, great conversation. A special thank you to @plexus from @lambdaisland for the insightful talk - Kaocha's ability to serve as a one-stop test runner is very intriguing. The future of #tech is bright!
really enjoyed @maxdemarzi's sharing -- the clear comparisons showed the effects of different ways of modeling the #data+queries on #UX➡️time to re-think how we model legal knowledge for #KM at @intelllexhq, can alr think of some improvements.. 🤔 #KnowledgeGraph#SystemDesign

@alexgsmith@legalBA@DanHLawReporter@gavinsblog@i_ravn are you guys still open to another graph kid joining at Legal Geek? would love to nerd out together with graph folks who truly understand graphs, getting a little bored working on graphs in a little corner..
As a #startup, we like to move fast 🏎️. TBH we had our reservations abt how fast we cld go w/ a large corp. like @TRLegalEurope. Now I can safely, say our worries were unfounded. If you'd like to know more abt @intelllexhq's experience -- feel free to reach out! #KM#LegalTech
We know that navigating a corporate partnership can be daunting for a startup. Here's our take on keeping parties aligned & on track to deliver on milestones during our collaboration with @TRLegalEurope. Thankful for the opportunities & support from @Leasoj @andywishart & TR team
@changziqian sharing that #Lawtech startups have the advantage of cross-domain teams working closely to deeply understand the use case to deliver a MVP integrated into the user’s workflow. Thank you @Eagle_Labs_Law for organising #lawtechdemoday!
I’ve been slinging software & services now for 15 years and I’ve yet to see a single RFP that is outcome or goal driven.
They are all: “Must have feature X, Y, Z and be priced at $A $B $C”
When they should be: “Must reduce/increase X by Y within Z months”.
