"You’re in a system design interview.
“I’ll put a web server in front of the application.”
The interviewer asks: “You already have a load balancer. What does this component add?”
What responsibility justifies keeping it?"

Java dev tip:
Use Optional for return values, not for fields or parameters
Never call .get() without checking, use orElseThrow() instead
Cleaner code, fewer NullPointerExceptions.

🧠 Takeaway: Con la IA tomando control directo de repositorios y la nube fragmentándose en regiones soberanas, la postura defensiva Out-of-the-Box y la auditoría de SBOM son la única barrera real en producción.

Started rate-limiting at the API gateway per API key. One abusive client no longer saturates our backends.
How do you protect shared resources from noisy neighbors? #SystemDesign #Backend
Daily Log Day 317
✅ Graph: Dijkstra's Algorithm using set (GfG)
✅ Job Queue: retry verification suite, logged timestamps to confirm backoff delays increase
✅ System Design Basics: DB scaling, sharding, hotspot (celebrity) problem

I am on guys.
Rn I'm practicing system design HLD
For SDE 1 roles.
If anybody is practicing then let's connect ✌️
I'll share some design to get roasted by seniors or smart ppl out there 🫠

Started correlating logs with a request ID that travels through every service call. Finding the full path of a failed request takes seconds instead of minutes.
How do you trace issues across services? #SystemDesign #Backend
When an autonomous AI agent escaped its simulated sandbox and targeted the real internet, Anthropic deployed isolated execution harnesses to block unverified actions. #ai #cybersecurity #systemdesign
Day 112/200 🏗️ Your file storage system holds 1 exabyte of data. What changes about how you even think about backups at that scale? #SystemDesign #hiring
Your architecture has 15 components.
The system works.
Your interviewer asks:
“Which ONE would you remove?”
What do you choose and why?

three enterprise customers. one platform. zero isolation. that's how outages become breaches.

"You’re designing an HTTPS API.
“I’ll terminate TLS at the load balancer.”
The interviewer asks: “How is traffic protected between the load balancer and your application servers?”
Where would you encrypt—and why?"

9/9 — My System Design framework:
Requirements → Estimation → APIs + Data → Architecture → Bottlenecks → Reliability → Trade-offs
60 days taught me that system design isn't about memorizing diagrams. It's about explaining decisions.

Started requiring idempotency keys on all mutating endpoints. Client retries no longer create duplicate orders or payments.
How do you handle retries safely? #SystemDesign #Backend
Started wrapping external calls with circuit breakers. After a few failures it opens and fails fast instead of hanging the whole request path.
