☝️Health care worker status is not associated with poorer outcomes.
✌️It's, in fact, associated with shorter length of hospitalization and decreased likelihood of ICU admission
Grateful to be a part of this work on outcomes of #COVID19 among hospitalized #healthcareworkers.

1/ A #medtwitter thread.
In March, we launched the N American Alliance for the Study of Digestive Manifestations of #COVID19. With prior research halted & coordinators sidelined, we leveraged our existing infrastructure to better understand GI & liver involvement in COVID-19.
“Within just 72h of the initial outreach, >400 volunteers enlisted...” Great work by @Sigal_Israilov@kroussMD @HyungChoMD @NYCHealthSystem and, most importantly, the volunteers.
