Pleasure meeting Senator Rand Paul yesterday. I appreciate him coming to Muhlenberg County to lend assistance to disaster relief. We have so much left to do.
Jordan Baise tells me that his piano — yes, the one on which he played “There’s Something About That Name” in the middle of his tornado-demolished home — is going to become an art piece at the Muhlenberg Music & History Museum.
It was great to visit with Kentuckians in Hartford and Bremen this morning. I continue to be amazed at the communities in our Commonwealth and across our nation who have come together to help those impacted by the horrific tornadoes this past December.
.@JasonCrabbMusic and his friend Jordan Baize shared a special moment at the @opry, after Jordan's home sustained damage from tornadoes in Kentucky.

There was a special moment at the Opry tonight with @JasonCrabbMusic and his friend, @J_Baize.
Jordan Baize went viral on December 12th playing his piano from his home that had sustained major damage from the tornadoes in Kentucky and tonight, Jason invited him to play here.
There have been so many stepping up and leading during the rescue and cleanup efforts from this tornado. The response has been overwhelming. It brings to mind a very simple theory that’s proven in practice for generations.
“Leaders lead.”
That’s it.

So a video of me playing piano in my home after Friday’s storms has taken off a bit. Honored for the opportunity to share my faith in God during trying times.
