Did you know you can obtain a plenary indulgence on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi?
Sunday, June 4, 2026, the Catholic Church will celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.
Saint Francis de Sales said,
“Nowhere do we find our Saviour more tender or more loving, than here [in Adoration] where He, so to speak, annihilates Himself and reduces Himself to Food, in order to penetrate our souls and to unite Himself to the hearts of His friends.”
Eucharistic processions occur worldwide on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, or the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ.
During Pope Leo XIV's Wednesday General Audience on June 3, 2026, he encouraged Catholics to continue Eucharistic processions on Corpus Christi:
“In the Eucharist, we contemplate Jesus, the bread broken and given for each of us,” he said. “Processions with the Blessed Sacrament, which take place in the streets of many towns, are an expression of popular Eucharistic devotion; in this regard, I encourage you to keep alive this beautiful public manifestation of faith."
The USCCB's Manual for Plenary Indulgences states,
"A plenary indulgence is granted to the faithful who devoutly participate in a solemn Eucharistic procession, held inside or outside a church, of greatest importance on the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ."
To obtain this plenary indulgence, the faithful who participate in a Eucharistic procession on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi must also fulfill the usual three conditions:
- Go to Confession (as soon as possible or after fulfilling the other conditions)
- Receive Holy Communion (as soon as possible)
- Pray for the Pope's intentions. (The Church suggests an "Our Father" and a "Hail Mary" as soon as possible)
One must approach the indulgence with a spirit “completely detached from the affection for a sin,” both mortal and venial. If a soul is not completely detached, the indulgence is partial.
O Sacrament most Holy, O Sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine! 🙏

On the night of June 5, the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage arrived in Washington, D.C., bringing Christ present in the Eucharist to the heart of the nation during America’s 250th anniversary year.
Traveling more than 2,000 miles over six weeks, the pilgrimage brings the Eucharist through cities and communities across America, accompanied by nine young adult Perpetual Pilgrims and thousands of participants along the route. Father Charles Trullols, Director of the Catholic Information Center, accompanied the Eucharist across the Arlington Memorial Bridge—a powerful symbol of national unity and reconciliation—reflecting the pilgrimage’s theme, “One Nation Under God.” The crossing marked a profound moment of bringing Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, into the heart of the nation’s capital.
The pilgrimage vehicle then arrived on the National Mall, where Father Trullols carried the Eucharist alongside the nine Perpetual Pilgrims for a symbolic blessing of the nation, overlooking the Washington Monument and the U.S. Capitol.
This is more than a journey. It is a public testimony of devotion, revival, and the enduring presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
St. Norbert had a literal “off his horse” conversion. He was thrown from his horse & when he woke up he asked: “Lord, what do want me to do?” Our Lord said “Turn from evil & do good. Seek peace & pursue it.” https://t.co/aJJxudA90T
The second stop of St. Anthony’s visit to Toronto will be at Guardian Angels Parish, Brampton. Veneration of the Relics: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM Holy Mass: 5:00 PM We warmly invite everyone to come and pray, venerate the relics, and entrust their intentions to St. Anthony.
An ounce of prayer made amid desolations is of greater value before God than a hundred pounds of it in the midst of consolations.

Knights from Council 11738 saw a need to rekindle prayer in their parish. Inspired by a traveling icon, they launched a traveling statue prayer program at St. Helen’s Church in Glendale, Arizona. Parishioners host the statue for a week at a time, praying together as families and invoking the intercession of the Blessed Mother and Blessed Michael McGivney for their needs and the needs of the community — including prayers for the healing of a baby facing serious medical difficulties. The Knights hope the program will inspire other councils to strengthen family prayer and open hearts to the graces received through the intercession of the saints.
