In early Feb. when the PPE went to China, there were only a handful of US cases, so there was still time to keep it from getting established. I'm no fan of Trump or Pompeo, but I understand their effort here.

@SecPompeo This was the right move. Containing the virus to China, if successful, would keep CoVID-19 from becoming a pandemic. One mask in China could be worth 1,000,000 in the US if it stopped the spread.
