.@stoolpresidente floating a run against @NYCMayor looks more like a publicity stunt than the start of a serious campaign.
If Portnoy were genuinely interested in becoming mayor, he'd be hitting the campaign trail and developing a message instead of going on @FoxNews.
Watters: You might run against Mamdani?
Portnoy: I would love to run against—if I was going to run, it would be here. Can I win here? I have no idea.
I’ve done a lot of good in NYC, whether it was the Barstool Fund or pizza places, so it wasn’t for show. I’ve had a real job. I’ve done real things, unlike these clown politicians who have never had a job and have never been in the real world for a day
The @FloridaGOP’s decision not to hold a gubernatorial primary debate—combined with messaging that many younger voters perceive as overly aggressive—contributed to the lack of enthusiasm for the Sunshine State Showdown.
A sad display all the way around.
"Hundreds of supporters"*
Again, in this image here there are about 11 paid canvassers holding up signs so you can't see how few people are there (there's a separate video showing how empty this is), but more importantly, here's a photo of the conference room where the "showdown" took place:
The showroom floor is split into 3 seconds - left, center, right. Both left and right have a capacity of 49 seats each. The middle holds 56. That means, in total, there was a 154 person capacity. There were plenty of empty seats throughout no matter what video you watch, putting total attendance somewhere just shy of 100 people. And that's including the candidates, their families, their handlers, FLGOP showrunners, those paid to be there with signs, and journalists.
Meaning this entire event had less than 20 actual swayable voters in it. Further, if you check the livestream numbers (got this one from LMP, image on the right), a whopping TWELVE people were watching it online. All of them undoubtedly Jaybronies who spend 15 hours a day on this site trying to astroturf a campaign out of this failure.
Next to the 30% of the Magadoltian population who thinks we're truly in the Golden Age, the Jaybronies are without a doubt the most delusional, ignorant, dishonest, patently stupid people you will ever meet.
.@TuckerCarlson built his brand on taking firm positions and challenging the political establishment. But when those positions keep changing, it’s fair to ask whether principle or popularity is driving his agenda:
.@POTUS should be focused on preserving the peace agreement with Iran—not risking another escalation.
A renewed conflict could send gas prices higher, while rattling the global economy, and leave ordinary Americans paying the price. Keeping the peace should be the priority.
Interesting tactic by @TuckerCarlson having @alexbruesewitz on just days after saying he was leaving the Republican Party.
Either both sides are looking to smooth things over, or the public fallout was a staged @WWE show meant to generate clicks & attention.
“A lot of these same influencers have been organized against [Tucker Carlson].”
Donald Trump’s top social media advisor @alexbruesewitz on the online attack campaign against Tucker and other anti-war voices:
While @NYCMayor delivering on his "freeze the rent" promise will offer immediate financial relief to tenants, the long-term implications for landlords could be devastating if the cost of operating their properties continues to increase.
Time will tell.

Even though @ericadamsfornyc has been out of office for 6 months now, it was only a matter of time before more members of his administration got engulfed by another corruption scandal.
Adams' tenure will go down in bureaucratic infamy forever.

As @NYCMayor, @SenSanders, and @AOC backed candidates cruised to primary wins Tuesday, it highlighted a concerning trend: ideological alignment and political branding are starting to matter more than governing experience.

Once @POTUS finishes celebrating @RepDanGoldman’s loss, he may want to consider what comes next: @bradlander.
Lander thrives off hostility and has a track record that should raise serious questions.
Voters in NY-10 & Americans got a downgrade.
https://t.co/RnUZy2fzCP
.@BernieSanders calling Brad Lander a “great candidate” undercuts his credibility.
Lander used his position as Comptroller to pick fights with @ICEgov agents while neglecting taxpayers' needs, and is now pushing a campaign built on personal attacks rather than substance.
Today is Election Day in NEW YORK and UTAH.
If you haven’t already, get out and vote for great candidates like Brad Lander, Claire Valdez and Nate Blouin.
While it may feel unusual to see a @AlexBores political ad on the front page of the @NYDailyNews, it reflects how legacy media is evolving.
As ad revenues shift, even traditional outlets are rethinking how premium space gets sold.
This looks like an endorsement, but its not -- the wood of the Daily News should not be for sale!
Our staff was mortified to wake up to a front page covered by a deceptive political ad for two days straight.
Shame on Heath Freeman and Alden for selling our good name for a buck.
.@TuckerCarlson’s break from the Republican Party reflects a broader shift happening across American politics.
As both parties move toward more hardline positions, establishment voices are jumping ship, favoring their own independence over partisan affiliation.
Tucker Carlson: I would not support the Republican party, there's no chance I would support the Republican party. How could I support a political party that is not loyal to the United States. I voted Republican my entire life, I have been a consistent defender for 35 years of the Republican party, but there is no defending this. I'm out
@PaulDMauro Umm…did you take the time to actually read this article?
Those stats are from 2023. Stop trying to mold every piece of information into a narrative that fits your agenda.
You haven’t policed since the dinosaur era and are completely out of touch with reality.
Interesting that @NYCMayor is sitting on the sidelines for one of the most consequential congressional races in NYC.
Mamdani likely aligns with @MicahLasher, but the fact that he hasn’t said so publicly is telling.
Mamdani again declines to say who voted for in the competitive NY-12 primary. Said it’s between himself and the ballot. Which is really annoying, because he’s the mayor and has publicly endorsed several candidates, and hasn’t been afraid to offend would-be allies with that.
The sheer number of people at the @nyknicks parade makes it a safety hazard for all involved.
This level of overcrowding is unprecedented, even for a place with as much foot traffic as Lower Manhattan.

@atrupar .@JDVance’s media tour — which included appearances on @TheView & @CBSMornings — was a heavily calculated move as he looks to reshape his image ahead of 2028:
