@MoreLimitless People talk crap about the English dub but I love the out of the norm accents in the main cast and the side characters are all pretty normal.
@MoreLimitless 2 is amazing except the gatcha system for blades. Grinding and cracking crystals for hours on end is annoying, especially in a single player game. Just give me the actual cool blades through quests and fights like a normal rpg and don't waste my time on this unnecessary time sync
@Jaereku An identical act even outside of the movie context would be a bit dismissive and overly assertive. But a "hey, wake up", "I really just want to watch the movie", or similar remark would totally be normal. It's all about the intention and reception based on the couple.
@Marie5589089757@ReviewsPossum There are definitely shots there that are painted backgrounds but the turn around still appears to be cg models. They also use models for the town in other spots in the movie based on your clips. Wonder if there's a making of out there that shows how it was done.
@XPWeaver@DieChanc3 Multiple parts of the game have you walk around and interact with the environment to trigger canned dialog. There are also mini-game segments (skipping rocks, moving a couch, painting) and missable trophies. It's still a linear narrative but you can't literally do nothing.
@MightyKeef Personally I think Slippy needs bigger pupils. These realistic art styles always give them too human eyes. They'd look better and lose some of their uncanny valley look if all you did was make the pupils bigger.
@aakashgupta I think this guy is gonna kill it as Snape, but the costume is killing me. The leather already feels rough, but the zipper really pushes it over the edge for me.
As we watch things spin out of control in the Middle East I can't help but recall, and I've said it many, many times before and I'll say it again: one human being should not be able to have all this power. The Founders didn't want it that way and they were 100% right.
@KallilAugusto People believe the general audience doesn't care, but that's only because they tried to include too much gameplay for the modern day parts. Just give us the hook for why we need to relive someone's life, then give me a reveal at the climax of the game.
@KallilAugusto Fully agree. Once Assassin's Creed got away from the idea that we we're delving into the past to solve modern mysteries the entire point of the Animus setup is called into question. Why are we even pretending like we need this modern day pretense if the story clearly doesn't.
@Critical_Scribe Simple to write doesn't mean not well written. Simple can also be argued, as how simple is it to have a character remain true to Luffy's romantic ideals in the face of every situation and make it feel real and natural without seeming childish or idealistic.
@davidscottjaffe Most zones have central landmarks you can position yourself off of. I found most of the early zones very linear, with a clear "go down/up/forward" design. Most of the exploration in the openning zones is "right path loops back after treasure, left path continues story."
@notmywh This is probably the most realistic relationship I've seen in a Disney/Pixar movie. It's not about the pin. She's angry he's not taking this as serious as she is. He's upset because all he cares about is her feelings. She's manic though and almost at her breaking point. Too real
@ManyATrueNerd Beyond the name and world, the Divinity games constantly explore new things with each entry with rare exception. Most of them are totally different styles of games. Divinity is just as likely to be some new format of game for them to explore, despite being set in the same world.
@TheIshikawaRin An Okami sequel, one led by the original devs, was something many of us never thought possible after Clover's closure. Okamiden wasn't even made by Clover Studio. Okami was, and is, a uniquely beautiful and special game. This was a tear worthy surprise if there ever was one.
@notmywh She's so focused on proving everyone wrong she's losing sight of what's important. This is moments before she almost gives in and accepts that they're too different. She's at peak manic state. Her later apology addresses the root emotions of all this. It feels very real to me.
@CHelleaven@Grummz That's capitalism though. Basic supply and demand. Why would they create supply for a less profitable demand. They have no regulatory requirement to produce at certain volumes, so you capitalize on the highest price possible. Eventually, the demand is met and the market balances.
