@davejakenum1fan Not at all, Mother 3 has better gameplay, a more engaging story, and a more expansive soundtrack. I would say Mother 2 is better about letting you explore the world and you have a lot more freedom to do things out of order though, you don't get that in Mother 3 until the needles.

But for real, I do hope Ding Dong and Julian get better. They've just been spiraling and as a fan of them it's just been depressing to see. I just dubbed these posts for fun, no malice intended, promise.

The situation with Ding Dong just makes me sad, man. I truly wish the best for him and Julian, but it's clear that they're self destructing, and it's just awful to see.
