People in Dallas don’t really understand development.
Goldman is building a $700m building right next to AAC.
Hillwood (Victory Commons) is 94% leased with 2 more buildings going under construction in the next 5 years.
All the parking garages surrounding the AAC will turn into AA-AAA office buildings with Victory Park transiting into Y’all Street.
I hate the Stars and Mavs are leaving and don’t want to see the AAC torn down. But that’s the nature of the beast.
City of Dallas has had multiple opportunities to keep the teams in downtown surrounding areas but politicians can’t get a deal done
It’s not on ownership. It’s on the lack of responsibility our city leaders have making our downtown neighborhoods safe tourist attractions for all the residents of the DFW.
Just look at Fort Worth and see what responsible Mayor(s) can do for a city
I was going to charge $25k a month for someone to make us (Olivia and me) their full time private chef
Which would also include us traveling with them, hosting dinner parties at their restaurant inside their home.
Only reason why we turned it down is because we would be exclusive to them and had to stop our own thing.
Chef-owner Olivia López has been working on opening Olōyō for years in Old East Dallas. It's one of Dallas' most exciting new restaurants. https://t.co/H7U9v8g8rS
Palantir CEO Alex Karp’s secret to staying physically fit enough to run Palantir:
“Copy the Norwegians.”
“Run like a snail—run at the pace you walk at, get a band, stay in Zone 1.”
“Do that as much as possible and over a long period of time, you will transform your health.”
