JOEY DOOLEY, 6'3, 195, QB, Lawrence, '28, as a sophomore last fall he ran & passed for 1,400+ yds & 14 TDs in only seven games; once the season ended he shifted gears to hoops & has continued playing AAU ball this summer to stay in shape; he also ran track, showcased his game at camps & is starting to see the offers & game-day invites come in; he has a howitzer for an arm, with strong angular velocity snapping off quick-release throws from the pocket or on the move; he is also particularly dangerous running the RPO, exploding off the fake & cutting to daylight where he uses his speed & elusiveness to carve up defenses on the ground. This guy has a high-energy game & is going to put on a show this fall. Keep grindin' @joey_dooley2 👊

TRUTH POPE, 6'0, 165, WR/DB, Lawrence, '28, this 3-sport athlete has had a strong off-season training daily & recently had a good performance at Lindenwood, particularly in the 1-on-1 drills; he was also showing his game yesterday at the KU camp as he continues to prepare to play both ways at WR/DB; with 4.55 speed, great read-and-react skills, a nose for the ball & sticky hands he is a playmaker waiting to happen.
