The year 2020 as told by #Hamilfilm:
•"In the living room stressing”
•“Honestly, it’s kind of draining”
•“I hadn’t slept in a week”
•“I am the one thing in life I can control”
•"Fuuuuuuu-"
If you were turned off by the President’s behavior last night, I feel you. Believe me, I do. But we can’t let him win by tuning out altogether. That’s what he wants. So turn those feelings into action—turn them into votes for my friend, @JoeBiden.
RBG paved the way for all of us and every woman we will ever know.
Her legacy: for us to go into every room where decisions are being made. I hear @Lin_Manuel’s words. “Legacy. What is a legacy? It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see.”
It’s up to us, y’all. #vote
How do you mourn the loss of a great champion for justice like Ruth Bader Ginsburg? You mourn deeply & you vow to continue her work with even greater resolve. Her death must bring us to life.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg stood for all of us. She was an American hero, a giant of legal doctrine, and a relentless voice in the pursuit of that highest American ideal: Equal Justice Under Law. May her memory be a blessing to all people who cherish our Constitution and its promise.
"Justices continue to think and can change. I am ever hopeful that if the court has a blind spot today, its eyes will be open tomorrow." -RBG
A tremendous loss. A tremendous legacy.
