@RELIK_60 Sounds like an awesome project! Iβm afraid I have no experience developing rocket motors, as it is illegal where I liveβ¦ but best of luck!
Over 100,000 views on my YouTube channel π
50,000+ for my first TVC rocket (when I was 15), 40,000+ for my flight computer PCB, and a new video recently postedβ¦
@Bob_Welton Thanks! Itβs because a third axis is needed to control roll/spin, as you said, and roll control is going to be the objective of the first flight of this rocket (before any fancy position control). This flight will be used to validate the aerodynamic characteristics of the fins.
Iβm working on a fin mechanism that can fit within a 66mm airframe.
The servo motors are offset upwards to make room for a 29mm rocket motor at the centre (not pictured).
My new multi-purpose flight controller is up and running!
It is connected to an ELRS receiver and is parsing the RC channels to control some servos and LEDs. Brushless coming soon!
It can use itβs sensors for closed-loop control of drones and RC planes.
@PCBWayOfficial
I have finally been able to parse data from my ELRS radio receiver!
This protocol is not open source, so I have been using Ardupilot firmware as a reference.
My software is written in C for STM32, and uses a 2-byte circular DMA buffer to parse each packet one byte at a time.
