The current marine heatwave in the mediterranean is statistically so unlikely to occur from natural variation alone and has been made possible to due human induced climate change.

We need to bring some facts back to this platform.

✅ Climate change is real
✅ The planet is warming because of rising CO2 directly related to the burning of fossil fuels

This is not up for debate. This is proven beyond all reasonable doubt. Yes the climate has always changed, natural cycles alter earths climate over hundreds of thousands of years, not over decades.

In fact - It’s due to the hard work of climate scientists that we know about the natural cycles & forcing of climate, this knowledge means we can rule them out as being the primary driver of observed planetary warming in the last 70-100 years.
