Enhanced texts to support early literacy learning are coming in 2021.
The Ready to Read Phonics Plus texts aim to help children “crack the code” in reading and writing and include teaching notes for teachers and whānau to use. They'll be in schools from March.
Reading for pleasure is one of the most powerful ways of improving literacy, learning, and wellbeing.
