@CalFalconCam@SteveKronerSF Incidentally, the carotenoid protein is a component in the crop milk's composition. Columbids aren't the only species that produce this excretion, as flamingos and penguin are also recorded to feed their progenies crop milk as well,

I'm still perplexed as to why he isn't banded if he originated from an eyrie located in a metropolitan area.
