@dem_proud @caslernoel@hollyberryfleur Exactly. Now the governor and state’s legislative branch holds that power.
Like the opioid policies giving dea oversight in pain management. It needs to go away.
Most support abortion while most also support determining at which point it is no longer a choice.
@TNaija143@CharlieStage1@caslernoel I’m in a deep red state. If CA, RI, or other blue state can successfully pull of the green policies they are proposing nationally. That would sway my vote if they are successful elsewhere. My vote has more power now. I just wish we would get rid of the two party monopoly
@TNaija143@CharlieStage1@caslernoel True. Media in general has turned to 💩, corporate elitism with both parties, and if Texans aren’t happy they can vote. Same with CA, NY, FL, etc. The vote has more power locally than nationally and each state has its own unique culture. Which is nice actually.
@JHNTruthTeller@caslernoel Kind of how we been screwed for decades. I’m glad to see the power go back to the states and the legislative branch. To the people we vote for versus the unelected.
@TNaija143@CharlieStage1@caslernoel No not really. We are the “United States”. Dems can make their states the model for the country not the country for the states. If your policy is good it will spread. If it’s not don’t make the rest of us suffer because policy fails.
@TheatreofZen@caslernoel The first half of your tweet 100%. The legislative branch now has to work instead of just pander.
Pack the court 0%. If you wouldn’t want the other side to do it. Given the filibuster was put in place by dems. It’s a prime example of why moving the goal posts don’t work.
