Hi there! Do you have a copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and a 3DS with JKSV on it? Do you have any of these patterns (aside from the Pikmin, they have QR codes) on an old save file anywhere? Please contact me, these are the only NL official patterns missing!

I think the jokes about the Sportmates invading Wuhu Island are really funny but I don't think people realize how many franchises Miis invaded AND killed during the 3DS era
Guess what? Optical Microlenses are critical for AI data centers.
That means we can add physical media to the list of things the AI industry has killed alongside affordable hardware.
Killing discs in the middle of a storage cost crisis where you can only fit like four games on a drive to begin with is quite the move. See Xbox just cutting its 2TB model since it costs too much
I can't help but think gaming is in a really, really bad place right now.
Things like this, massive layoffs/closures across the industry losing thousands of talented people who will never return, and the continual refocus on the Hollywoodification of games in general.
I hate it.
>No physical games
>$1000 price tag looking likely
>$80 games looming
>5-7 year game production cycles
>Deeply uninspired lineup from the PS5
The PS6 hasn’t even been revealed yet and already feels completely fucked
so planting trees does more than just provide shade it actively lowers temperatures and they act as carbon sinks. we need to plant trees AND lower fossil fuel emissions.
Execs trying to force AI in to every aspect of game development while AI is actively making their business unaffordable for consumers has got to be the dumbest self-own
so mad having grown up in the “we really can stop climate change!” era to now being firmly in the “hmm i guess we gotta figure out how to live alongside climate disaster 🥴” era. good stuff !!
