As I walked off the CBS set this morning, a young producer stopped me backstage. She was shy. She hesitated. Then she asked: "Did you say a woman were blinded… intentionally? What do you mean?"

A New York death investigator is still fighting one word about 9/11.

Frank A. DeAngelis worked the pile for the medical examiner. Months later, in a meeting, somebody referred to the people falling from the high windows as jumpers and suicides.

Chief Medical Examiner Charles Hirsch put his hands on the table. Never use those words, he said. They were forced out by fire and smoke. They were standing on sills gasping for air. Some lost their grip. Terrorists murdered them.

Every World Trade Center death certificate says homicide. There was no finding of suicide among the 2,753.

The 9/11 Museum still has a sign that says “those who jumped.” He has asked them to change it. The committee said nobody else seems bothered.
