Well, this made my day. 😢

Last year, I photographed a family golf trip to St Andrews, one of those special days where the golf, the laughter, the place, and the people all came together.

One of my clients recently received a framed print from that trip.

He was in tears.

Not because it was just a photograph, but because it took him straight back to that exact moment — the feeling of being there, the memories of the round, and the joy of sharing the game with the people who mean the most.

That’s what golf trip photography is really about.

It’s not just about capturing swings, fairways, or famous courses.

It’s about preserving the emotion of the day. The friendships. The family moments. The stories that will be told for years.

Golf has this incredible way of bringing us closer to family and friends and that is exactly why I shoot golf.

What a day they had. And what a privilege it is to help people hold onto it.
