@senecaflight10@joel_ostrom@NjTank99 What’s crazy as another person born in 93 is that all of these painful memories weren’t even in the finals, Super Bowl, or World Series. We weren’t even THAT close to a championship. It truly is pathetic
@J_D_Cameron I think you’ve hit a soft spot because for the most part we all enjoy our teams. We all fall into the same generational PTSD when our hopes are shattered in heartbreaking fashion year after year. You can’t tell someone how to accept that.
@sixtynineIQ@jordynbtw On a cup winning team, you cannot have a Middleton as your 6th D. Colorado had Manson out for more than half the series and their 3rd pairing defenseman stepped up without being on the ice for 12 goals against.
@DylanLoucks4 A fireable offense. Not even kidding. Spare me the missing Brodin and Ek comments we’re bound to hear from Lapanta. Hynes made the wrong call with that pairing far too many times this series.
Middsy is a great dude. Simply can’t be on the ice in that situation. He’s a minus-5 this series, and this is not a good look. 5, 17 and 71 on the ice for both goals against late. It can’t happen. I understand 14 and 25 are out, but holy shit, there has to be better options.
@nhl_review@PeteBlackburn@avsandchill Kind of a shitty playoffs. Need Colorado and Carolina to lose as many players to free agency this summer as possible
@StateOfHoppy 1. Middleton is required to Uber home from Denver.
2. Hynes has to draw up plays on his bald head or he loses his job to Bruce Cassidy
3. Trade Brodin for whatever value he has and acquire a 2nd pair D-man who can stay healthy somehow
4. Keep Wally.
@FO17GNOS@B_Marsh92 I agree, but only if we could dump Trenin somehow. We need a checking winger who can actually score and burn past defenders when forechecking. We were out skated the whole series aside from like 3 periods.
@AnthonyLaPanta Without Brodin and Eriksson Ek, we did not stand a chance. As much as I love both players, I think their lack of availability in critical moments is becoming an issue. Gotta trade Brodin this summer for someone who can stay healthy. Eriksson Ek in bubble wrap til late March
@ryanwhitney6@spittinchiclets Thanks Whit. It feels like you’ve had a heart to heart with one of us at some point and listened. Thank you for listening to that guy
@SteveGrivna@RussoHockey Hunt looks more than capable in his spot. Spurgeon is still great in moments, but also cannot box a guy out to save his life (2nd goal tonight)
