I would like to first thank God for the opportunity to play football. I would also like to thank my coaches and teammates who pushed me along the way. I am excited to announce that I will be pursuing my spiritual, academic, and athletic career at Wheaton College. #LetsRoll
Headline honors from a successful season.
https://t.co/TAO8GDjpK5 has announced its All-America Teams for the 2025 campaign, and five Wheaton players have earned special recognition for their strong performances this year.
Congratulations to Peter Johanik (First Team defense), Aiden Byrne (Third Team offense), Ben Juska (Third Team offense), Zeke Harris (Fourth Team defense), and Josiah Smith (Fourth Team special teams)!
Five marks the second-highest number of https://t.co/TAO8GDjpK5 All-Americans for the Thunder in a single season in program history and the most honorees in one year since 2021 (6).
Johanik becomes a unanimous All-American with today's announcement, and he extends @WheatonFB 's streak of having at least one unanimous All-America selection in every season since 2017.

The best I watched this year, live or on stream, was Riley Howard of Wheaton. Absolute thumper.
Bonus points for having the most fullback looking headshot imaginable, and for being from a town called "Slaughter." Very fullback of him.

Reaching the Third Round with a thrilling win #10!
The Wheaton football team takes down Wartburg College, 28-24, in Iowa to advance to the Third Round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Today's result marks the first road playoff win for the Thunder since 2016, and this year's campaign is the program's first with two postseason victories since 2019.
Wheaton outscored Wartburg, 21-8, in the second half of today's contest. Facing a 24-21 deficit with five minutes left to play, the Thunder drove 77 yards on 14 plays over the next four and a half minutes to score the winning touchdown through a four-yard rush by Matt Crider. The Wheaton defense then held firm as Colin Moore (pictured) batted down a Knights pass attempt on the final play of the game to seal the victory.
Crider ran for three touchdowns this afternoon, while Riley Howard tallied Wheaton's other score on the ground. Mark Forcucci threw for 228 yards, and Whit Jewett led all receivers with 113 yards on nine catches.
Moore led the Thunder with 11 total tackles and six solo stops along with a TFL and two pass break-ups. He was joined on six individual tackles and a pair of PBUs by Maison Haas, while Peter Johanik forced a fumble and posted a sack as part of his six tackles.
The Thunder will face DePauw University in next Saturday's third round matchup with the location of the game still to be confirmed.

"I'm just flesh and bone, but more importantly, I'm a soul, and that soul is accountable to one being."
"I've had an unbelievably blessed life... So praise God. I've been all across the world. I've met with world leaders."
"I've flown Air Force One, got to know a president. I have an amazing family, the podcast Turning Point USA... And so you experienced that, and you're like, 'What actually matters?'"
"What matters is your relationship with the divine, your relationship with your family, your kids, and maybe a close collection of friends, and your relationship with the truth."
So much wisdom and taken way too soon. Charlie Kirk will never be forgotten.
JUST IN: President Trump confirms Charlie Kirk is dead.
"No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie."
Rest in peace, Charlie.
The border experts want @realDonaldTrump to be President so that the border can be secured without compromise. Only the drug cartels and Democrats want an open border -- that’s what Border Czar Harris has given them and will continue to do in the future.
Extremely proud of this group of young men and their relentless pursuit of the standard.
The great accomplishment of the warrior…. To perform the commonplace under far-from-commonplace conditions.
Do simple better.
