They're doing this because they're scared of sending someone (me) to congress from Utah who isn't beholden to the big corporate/special interest groups that Ben McAdams has been a friend to for far too long. Skipping over his abysmal record on repro freedom in Congress is deceitful.
@Stuart98_@wanderingdave All I’m saying is it would have been good for the state and party had it played out that way and that’s the way I wish it had happened. He’s intentionally burned a lot of his past moderate record that he would need in a statewide run, that he wouldn’t need to shed in CD-4.
@LillianBelle2@wanderingdave No I got it right CD-4 is the SLCO one, if he wins or not he’s better positioned for Gov in 2028 which would be great for the state against a Chaffetz or Lyman
@Stuart98_@wanderingdave Regardless I think in this environment he outruns Mcmullins performance in the district by no less than 5 in this environment, McMullin only lost by 20, sets him up well for Gov in 2028 in a what looks like could be a blue year, against a Chaffetz or Lyman character
@wanderingdave That’s true but he didn’t live in CD-4 in 2018, many members of this states delegation do or did not live in their districts🤷🏻♂️. My main consideration there is former territory represented which is any part of old CD-4 not in new CD-1, which all falls into new CD-4. But fair point
Michael Ferrell and Liban Mohamed need to drop out, let’s not repeat the mistakes of progressives in the past and allow our vote to be split so a corporate candidate can win.
Neither has a path to victory as evidenced by the poll, and stand in the way of a progressive winning.
ATP this is cope and you are helping Ben McAdams win, if progressive values and a progressive representing this seat was the goal of this campaign today would be the last day of it.
It’s time to consolidate or we will get stuck with another Goldman or Auchincloss
🚨JUST IN: Senate President @JStuartAdams is calling for the Stratos data center project to be shrunk by 75% and include more environmental protections and transparency in a letter sent to @kevinolearytv.

One candidate in this race has the progressive record necessary to represent this district, and also can beat Ben McAdams.
That candidate is Nate Blouin, join the campaign today!
Our new poll dropped and the results are clear: we are the only campaign that has the baseline support to beat Ben McAdams. With ballots going out tomorrow, my focus remains the same: putting a progressive leader with a track record of standing up for their community–for reproductive freedom, for healthcare, for housing, for democracy itself–into Congress from CD1, rather than a politician who has capitulated to corporate interests.
Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
Let’s see that Tik Tok resignation letter, which he hasn’t released, and maybe then it could be believable that he is not one of big techs candidates this year. Probably won’t since he donated a mystery $ 43,000 to himself which he received from his work for Tik Tok and Meta!
It’s really ironic Liban is accusing Nate of performing for big tech when Liban quit his job advocating for *Tik Tok* in DC so he could run for Congress. He quit from Tik Tok and launched his campaign within weeks.
Utah does not need another advocate for big tech in Congress.
Yesterday Liban Mohamed accused Nate Blouin of “performing for big tech.”
I’m ideologically aligned w/ Liban & his 🇺🇸 story is indeed inspiring, but he’s wrong on strategy.
We don’t have luxury of being purists about not using Twitter to organize.

Contrary to new reporting from @fox13, the idea of a Utah Lake bridge has only "resurfaced" if you haven't been paying attention to the state's transportation plans. #slc#utpol https://t.co/GGThwLBH55
