Both Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Land contain unused graphics for the letter F, which was included since the programmers expected to use it, being a common letter in English. By incredible coincidence, however, neither of the two games ended up containing even a single F.

The Wii Virtual Console version of Super Mario 64 has an issue that doesn't appear in any other version, whereby Bob-ombs will occasionally have sharp, angular feet. Rarely, a "single sharp foot" event can even occur.
