@stellachenyl I’m genuinely curious because I don’t follow EDM or DJ culture. Many of the replies here say she’s a legitimate DJ who puts on good sets. Is she actually respected by other DJs and promoters for her skills, or is her reputation mostly tied to her influencer background?

@abigbluebird I think you’re missing the cultural context. Many Singaporeans were raised to respect elders, even when they’re not perfect.
That doesn’t excuse bad behaviour, but it does explain why people choose patience over confrontation. If it’s not a serious issue, why turn it into one?

@f6ary Agreed. Snapchat’s been early on this stuff for years. The pattern is usually the same, they build it first, everyone laughs, then someone else copies it, smooths out the UX, and ships it to a much bigger audience.
Distribution wins more often than innovation.

Jony’s designing for how people drive today → eyes on the road, minimal distraction.

Tesla’s designing around where they believe driving is going → FSD first, which makes the screen the primary interface.
