Thoughts before NCAAT:

- Braden may finally be tiring out after carrying such a heavy load this year. Short on every fadeaway and isn’t being a hound defensively

- Fletcher has elite games, and then games like tonight. Defensive liability and doesn’t have the 3 trigger we need

- Lastly, I wish Painter would be more fluid with his lineups. Tonight, Gicarri was simply better than CJ. Gicarri should’ve started the second half and I think Myles could’ve taken Furst’s spot. I wouldn’t change Painter for anyone, just a thought on tonight specifically

Horrible ball pressure + No rim protection = Disastrous defense for Purdue

Have to find a way to limit dribble penetration and rebound without Jacobsen’s size to bail us out.

Still believe we can make a run in March, but a particular trend is becoming worrisome…
