@CathieDWood Passive/index investment is simply an amplifier of active investment. If active investment signal degrades in quality, passive is proportionately impacted.
Also, if there are very few actual active investors, their decisions can greatly increase company valuation volatility.
If you find yourself struggling to explain perfectly obvious things to people who surely understood them a few short years ago, it's because you're up against sophistry.
Today's "nonposition" of the White House on the targeting of justices at their homes is one of the lowest moments in American politics. We have finally hit the bedrock of rage in American politics...
I'm wondering how Lysenkoism persists Online even after Crick & Watson discovered the double helix and watching some agriculture videos on bovine selective breeding and it's all "oh they never touched grass"
They need more than a textbook and need more than just the internet. Do you think they’ll research the Nuremberg trials if this doesn’t get name dropped? Or Lysenkoism?
The teacher also needs to function as a filter and a moderator.
Kids cannot teach themselves.
Same as Lysenkoism:
In Sri Lanka, Organic Farming Went Catastrophically Wrong
A nationwide experiment is abandoned after producing only misery.

@PaulEmbery The fantasy world of trans-ideology is contemporary Lysenkoism - and is similarly dangerous. It condemns children to (shortened) lifelong health problems, it threatens the safety, dignity and privacy of women, and will wreck women's sports. And it is scientifically groundless.
@temptamperu You're taking about medical lysenkoism and I agree. That IS happening. But there's also plenty of people who truly do have these conditions. That doesn't refute my point.
